@@MacroBioBoi I understand sever ain't the thing right now to be using, maybe in your tries it can still be something or nothing but maybe it does not have to be sever, it could be blight with the new unique and dropping down the boots with the sever thing, just saying it might be cool for an upgrade or a new build with lots of uniques, I don't think a minion build could work but blight might...I don't rly like blight xD, I like more severe for the visual...thx anyways for the reply and if u do try something, even if it doesn't work out, thx anyways
Would X'Fal's Corroded Signet be a nice addition in the ring slot, or can you not afford to give up another tempering slot? Seems like it would synergize with this build. Curious if you tried it while coming up with the build.

Started this Season as Blight Necro, switched to Summoner to farm the gear for Blight and am about to switch back to Blight. Your video came just at the right time!

Thank you! Perfect timing! I "am" actually sick of my minions and was planning on transitioning to a lone blight necro, all-in on shadow damage.
finally made my 2nd necro for blight build to 90, its really fun after bored with minions, i just realized i forgot to enchant 2 slot of offensive aspect but thats already good enough (manage to hit pit 60 before i realized my dmg are low and recheck gears). i also have problem spamming blight, always oom after few sec and im trying to stack essense persecond and resource cost, BUT just 3 points in Grim Harvest fixed all of it lmao, good thing i rewatch your vids. done pit t80, comfortable farm at t70. thanks for the build, good works as always!

This build is nuts to play and tons of fun! I've been playing it for a couple weeks now and it gives me the D3 Demon Hunter Dagger build vibes.
From a distance, throw waves and kill everything. Up close, throw waves and get multiple stacks of damage over time to literally melt EVERYTHING.
This is the most fun and super easy to play build im played in season 4. Highly recommended! Great job @MacroBioBoi

Nice. Sounds like my multiple +4 corpse explosion chests might now sell well on the market.
Something I've been missing is the ability to push hard and actively killing instead of waiting for my minions to kill everything. This will be so nice to look into once I finish leveling to 100 with the minion build. 100% looking forward to getting a Black River!
Edit: Randomly dropped an Ebonpiercer from running a quick Grigoire to get a Shard of Agony for Duriel to try and get a Black River. Looks like I'm respeccing to Blight Necro ❤😊

@5:55 Thx for the tips about NOT to enchanting an item with rare affix, but to gamble instead. (I kept farming Angelbreath in HellTide & never have the luck to enchant to a single CDR.)
Yeah blight is amazing :) I dropped minions on nice ebonpiercer dropped. And I had nice results with a twohander focusing on dot stats on my gear. (Pit 60)

Great video just subscribed. I agree with you point. Is there a way that we can get decrepified blood wave back in the mix is there any way to make this dangerous in higher tiers. I do know people figured out how to make it dangerous in season 2 doing up to tier 100 but not sure that build is valuble in season 4. Using blood wave is so satisfiying to me I love it just need a good build out for it.

Also i run decompose with the 2 additional targets instead of blight. I get ALOT of corpses. But im unsure how to scale the damage better.
Im dying to make a successful ice necro. This season feels like i can do it ( no minions as i love corpse explosion as a primary ) and i dont use cores because i use edgemasters for permanent uptime of that

Thank you so much. I've been doing a mix of ebonpiercer with minions and I can clear tier 60 pit but anything beyond that is near impossible (I refuse the elixir).
So what do you suggest those of us who don’t have a Shako to do about Blood Mist? Not sure what’s best to take a point out of? Maybe just slap Might on helm and use Reap to solve the question of best helm aspect, but not having unstoppable seems scuffed.
Definitely my favorite build so far! Have all the uniques you called out minus Doombringer and Starless. Find myself running out of essence on bosses on higher level runs, any suggestions till I get the ring? Thanks!

Follow up. HOLY F.... Easily cruised into 100. Also, and I know this is pure luck, but I got a Shako with a greater affix (+18% resource gain).. and I found it in a Helltide, from the boss you summon.

I'm at a crossroads, I completed Campaign and first capstone on hardcore using minions. Along the way i found the corpse consuming unique ring, so now I'm having troubles deciding between shadow minions or blight. Which build would be better with that ring?
I am *constantly* going out of essence with Endgame Build version even though I have the required gear and affixes. All glyphs at 21. I really want to like this but it feels really bad having to wait for essence so much. Any ideas?
I set myself up for this build, however I think that because most of my gear was rolled towards minions and not having my Glyphs leveled up yet made me feel *so squishy* so I had to swap back to Minions. I'll come back to this one once I have more gold, better rolled gear and leveled up Glyphs 😂
It looks like you can balance out armor and stack dodge on defencive tempers too, just as a sprinkle of fancy flaky salt on my wounds...

If you autocast CE, how about adding the golem on the hotbar for double Bonestorms?
Should help to ramp up ShadowBlight faster or does the extra Bonestorm on the Golem not count for this purpose?
edits: Nevermind, CE has to be on the hotbar as well, was looking at the Howl gloves .. nothing to see here =)
How would you swap around the aspects if you had shako and starless skies, as well as the other uniques of course
@MacroBoiBoi I have a question about Band of Ultimate Shadow vs. Xfal. I've been switching back and forth and I feel like XFals is doing more damage, maybe even a lot more. I have better clear times in T100s. I'm not even level 100 yet and haven't run any high-level pits so I may not have run into anything yet that needs it, but why are you not using XFal in this build?
You don't scale X'Fal's damage on this setup. But if you like it more, use it.

They both are. Minion is currently over performing due to the elixir of holy bolts
Is the Bloodless Scream Scythe that applies chill viable for this build? I also got Bloodmoon Breeches and curious about those. Would i be giving up too many aspects?
These are not good options. Bloodless Scream is unusably bad.
With Shielding Storm, you can also look for life on hit and run temerity. If you get a max roll on the ability, it's busted
Honest dumb question: since blight cant crit, is there a way to make overpower work as a viable mechanic for buffing damage ?

ive spent the last 2 days farming gear for the build you and rax showed off. just missing the necklace as ive yet to see a combo of either cooldown, crit, or hellbent so i cant even roll the 3rd. maybe i just play somethin else for a week of so and come back and see what to actually farm for :/
Whv do so many people (not you) say fortify doesnt work with barrier? Do you just need way to get max fortify and then you get thr dr and any barrier?

I currently have this build setup all the right gear but im 79% over the cap on shadow resistance anyway to lower in place of more damage? And i have 1 diamond on a ring and no other shadow resist on gear.

Thank you. Sadly, doombringer is not good on the build. It's much better on a blood build.
Thank you for this. I, while it works very well, am very much NOT enjoying minion necro. I also like to roll multiple toons so now I have something to do other than leveling glyphs which is the worse thing about the game for me.

It’s so much easier to rebuild now tho, we got respec scrolls and the gear drops are mostly straightforward (if you saved your greater affix pieces). I took like 30 mins going through the gear and another 10 for the board. Then again I’m struggling at pit 61, skill issue or no shako issue 😂
@@dolanduk9898 I’m saying the gold issue to re master work I’m able to solo pit 60 and my gear isn’t mid max. On top of that I work a lot so I’m just being a lil lazy lol I like my build now tho
I am speed farming T100's with this build to level the glyphs for the build from one... With none of the tempers and no cooldown reduction lol

I can`t help but feel a severe lack of Resource generation to use the blight ball more often.
Already seeing numbers in the millions, so hopefully when i get better stats on my gear it will improve.
Im guessing i will need at least 2 item pieces with 4 essence generation to make it feel better.

I farmed the pieces with essence per se and and worked those into my build and if I am in an area I think will be more intense I pop the regen potion at times. It's a balance between popping corpse explosion to refill essence as you use it. With enough mobs I can top off in seconds.

I switched to this after getting level 80 with minions, just got boring. But I took out blood mist and replaced it with the metamorphosis aspect + the blood golem which imo is the best of both worlds.
