Nice to see you down here :p - Zábava
Surprised Ashley Cole didn’t pop up in tic tac toe considering he could have been used for 6 of the 9 squares 😂
It’s funny cause the stadium question really does separate the Fifa players from the people who actually watch football in real life 😂
It’s Luke’s big plan 😂
I feel this! Wondered why I found it so easy… maybe because I’m a boomer.
I've known the first 3 but this one I didn't. But I knew for a fact it wasn't the one Tom guessed 😂
If you're not from the UK then even if you watch football you're not gonna know those small team stadiums. That ginger should've known them tho
Also weeds out the foreigners, I could name a few Aussie ones but outside of the big english ones I'm clueless
The Imbula pick should’ve counted imo. He used to be French, so he fits. They have done this before with Brazilians who changed their nationality to Chinese…
Pingu takes it too seriously. He would kill his own mother just to win some stupid tic tac toe.
Tbf Imbula never played a game in Championship for Stoke. He was loaned out to Toulouse and Villarreal the two years after relegation. I don't think he should count just because he technically was a Stoke player at the start of a Championship season.
I don’t think it should fit personally. For example, if I asked you to name me 2 Irish players, you wouldn’t say Declan Rice nor Jack Grealish, even though they have both represented Ireland and various levels. Yet if I asked you to name me 2 English players and you named them, I’m not going to say no, they are Irish because of those appearances.
@@JDTStagg-okay but you’re going from players who have played in the championship, in past tense, not current championship players. So why not people who have been French and are now no longer French.
@@SeanFerrol It is an irrelevant debate whether Imbula (who never played for France, and was not born in France - he changed his nationality from Belgian initially) should not count given his parents are congolese and he played for the DRC - he never played in the Championship, so that half is not fulfilled.
I love how the guest on every episode has progressively gotten less and less points 😂
0 points incoming
not negative?@@LukePingu
@LukePingu you should get Rory and Buvey on to prove their ball knowledge
This tenable is where some EFL knowledge would come in handy, there are tons of managers with 10+ clubs that havebnt touched prem
The categories are "a player that has won the europa league once." "Player who once played for chelsea" So by that you can say that french means "A player that once was french" XD
I think that toms answer should be considered as correct
I guess...
imbula never played in the champ smh
@@LukePingu In any case he was loaned out for both the seasons he was signed with stoke and they were in the championship, never played a single game there. Completely fine its not given
Hasn’t played for France or in the championship but apart from that it should count 😂
Toms answer was 100% correct, he got shafted there. Pingu has even referenced how you could technically have France and loads of African nations on the board at once because so many players work for both. Daylight robbery made him look stupid 😂
Hope you have a great birthday Luke! Fantastic content as always :)
Thanks Jack!
By day 25 the CZcams football multiverse will have opened up fully
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Also I love how much Luke enjoys this guy getting stuff wrong 😂
I think not knowing derby play at pride park might be the biggest howler i've seen on your channel
👀👀
Theyre in league one.. as irrelevant as one can be
@@cheeseshit999They were in the prem not that long ago and are a fairly big club mate, it's an easy question
That tenable question for Tom was absolutely a stich up! I probably could of named 10 but I've got a lot more free time than Tom I reckon🤣 Thats such a niche question for tenable, he deserves a rerun at the very least!
yeah scandalous how international jobs didn't count haha
I remember years ago Tom screaming at Pingu in his stream 😂 love seeing these 2 back together
🤣🤣
I vote for Tom getting a +3, U never explain to guests the nationality should be what they are currently so completely unfair IMO, And honestly throughout the Christmas quiz your rule explaining has been sup-par and confused the guests. I appreciate the effort into this series and really love the concept , Im just expressing my viewing experience.
Agreed. Imbula was declared for France when he was in the championship with Stoke. He meets the criteria IMO.
But he never played in the championship so no
Yeah no worries, technically imbula never played in the Championship so I'm actually right this time 😅😅
Some of these rules and VAR decisions worse than any I've seen in the premier league.
People just decided not to fact check if Stoke was in the Championship in 16/17 🤣
I was screaming ashley cole for the roma mls combo. Was shocked when he picked Bojan… didn’t even know he played for Roma😅
I like how you used Ravel Morrison as a player that changed nationality, and then he would've fitted as a MLS/Championship player
Happy birthday, Luke! I love the series. You are the GOAT.
P.S. 1. For French championship, I was thinking of Meslier, one of the most recent ones (because my knowledge on championship is awful.)
2. Roy Hodgson is the oldest manager I can think of, so, after Tom logic, he would do the job, but he is not that well known, apparently.
neil warrnock
Nah you did Tom dirty 🤣🤣🤣 Oh and Happy Birthday Luke! Enjoying the content mate!
Happy birthday Pingu!!
Class
You did tom dirty with that tenable
How did Tom not guess Woy [Hodgson] , had about 17 clubs 😂
AS Roma -MLS I thought of Ashley Cole immediately.
not letting imbula slide is abit harsh
lol great start
Most of us wouldn’t even need the multi choice answers for the first questions . You’re asking where we’ll known clubs play at . Fair enough not knowing Wycombe or someone but you should know derby , the have been in the top league for years
Hope you have a wonderful birthday buddy!
Thanks!
Hello LukePingu I’m loving the content :)
Thanks pal
i was screaming roy Hodgson and sven goran Eriksson for the last one, they both must have at least 15 clubs
I immediately thought about Roy Hodgson
Was shouting Ashley Cole for the entire middle column
The whole imbula situation becomes funnier when you realise he never played in the championship, he was loaned out when Stoke went down
Imbula actually never played a game for Stoke in the Championship funnily enough, was loaned out a few times then sold
Justice 💪💪
#JusticeforTom That Tenable was rough lol
Harry redknapp just taken over his 8 club Cwm Albion
That first question was horrific lol
MLS & Roma - Michael Bradley
I wouldn't put big massive Eric on here or he will probably win comfortably
Good video pingoon ! Capgoontom got tough questions but that’s the point of the game #stoproma
Tom got absolutely stiffed with that tenable
Disagree. If you have any knowledge of football outside of fifa then that’s actually relatively easy
@@danielwhite7201 But he doesn’t mate, that’s the point 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Hence: TOM got stiffed with that tenable
@@georgejeffs6643Tom stiffed himself. It's a football knowledge quiz??
I think the current nation is what should be considered.
If you count Imbula(even though he didn’t play in the championship but let’s say he did) then for example Mahrez would be counted since he was French and played for Liecester in the championship and I think no one would take that as a correct answer because Mahrez is more known to be Algerian and more known and famous than Imbula and this would be double standards by them.
Unless if you make a rule for the coming episodes and for the tic tac toe series that they at the time period that they played for the said club or achieved a trophy that they were declared for a different nationality(for example: Koulibaly was French while playing for GENK and Kondogbia was French wehen he won the Europa League in 13-14 with Sevilla)
Please somehow sort out a collab with comedian Jamie Hutchinson hes a big fan, much love pingu xx
They're literally getting worse every episode 🤣 happy birthday
Tom the kind of guy to say Grealish & Rice are Irish since it was on their Fifa cards 6 years ago 🤓
Tenable answers:
Tony pulis
Neil Warnock
Steve Bruce
Tony Mowbray
Claudio Ranieri
Roy Hodgson
Slavisa Jokanovic
Nigel Pearson (if you include caretaker roles)
Tom doesn't have any ball knowledge below Premier League 😂😂😂 and why did he not go with the safer option if Neal Maupay 😂
The manager question was so easy!
Another fantastic vid from and I am enjoying the series so far but how did Tom not know answer to first question also for tic-tac-toe Roma mls Ashley Cole would of worked if I didn’t work weird hours at work I would love to be part of one these videos
Imbula played in the premier league though lol
Tom deserves the +3 points because when Imbula was French he was at Stoke which mets the criteria. “its embarrassing, its a disgrace, thats what it is, a disgrace”
Everyone’s surprised about Roy not being mentioned in the tenable but Rafa Benitez was so obvious to me and my ball knowledge is terrible 😅
AS Roma and MLS could you have Michael Bradley? Definitely played MLS and i think Roma
Funniest thing is Imbula was never at Stoke when they were in the championship he was out on loan and never played for them
Tom,. you messed that up!
Ironically, Redknapp has now managed 8 clubs. Taking over ‘UK’s worst side’ Cwm Albion in Wales😂😂
Was screaming Gouffran for championship and French
I think Redknapp works he coached:
Bournemouth
West Ham
Portsmouth
Southampton
Tottenham
QPR
Jordan
Birmingham
In total 8
When Imbula played in the championship he was French lol that’s like saying Kounde plays for Barca now and hasn’t won the Europa league with them lol
(Imbula never played in the championship)
Happy Birthday Boss!
Thanks Spike!
I’d say he should get +3 seeing as he was French when he played in the championship
Im sure (as a stoke fan) imbula never played in championship anyway...maybe he did and i cant remember tho 😂
can we leave capguntom in 2016? most dry guest going
First person I thought of Basaksahir was Skrtel, Fenerbahce convinced me. I have been shut up
Almost any Brazilian manager would work
That France championship one was ashame
not really imbulas not played in the championship
I’m Tom’s defence, you would be okay with puskas in a Hungary column even though he was playing for Spain at retirement, the drc guy should’ve counted
I mean Kante won the Europa league right for french connection thought that would have been more in your minds with giroud and Chelsea on the board haha
you proper cheated him out of that tic tac toe
Hi Luke you should do fiago master mind eric and
Imbula never acc played in the championship 😂 He got loaned out every season
France championship - maupay
The most obvious MLS-Roma connection is Michael Bradley. But I forgot American players don’t matter 😂
I'm American and forgot he was at Roma 😂😂
Should try get tom garratt on for one of these pingu be great watch, some vids 👏
Ashley Cole for MLS Roma
Good shout
The Imbula one is not harsh at all. Like saying Zaha was English at one point so he’d count in an England Turkish league square
But he was French when he started his spell at stoke
Doesn’t matter tho because he never played in the championship lol
@@williamgonzalez6311 ok then mate so, championship and Irish would work for grealish as when he first started he’d declared for Ireland yeah?
@@MrPooley1 yea
If Imbula was representing France during his time in the Championship then he technically should have been allowed that.
he didnt play a minute in the championship anyway
@@bigfatsimsy6974 doesn't matter, he was owned by a Championship team, so he was a Championship player.
stadium question separates actual football fans from Div rivals virgins, glad to see him get it wrong
If you don't get the stadium question right you shouldn't be allowed to answer any of the others 👍 (unless you don't live in England)
that tom fela is such a massive cryer..... every vid I've seen him in he's crying. jarring
Not getting pride park is criminal
If you gonna do angry ginge in this series.. please do one round where the questions are about footballers who have father and son connections 😂 trust me for the content, ginge will make you so many clips 😂 maybe a tenable, name 10 players who have played in the same division as their father.. thatll really separate the men from the boys
🤣🤣🤣🤣
To be fair imbula never actually played for Stoke in the championship, only in the prem
How’s he not got Hodgson, Pardew Ranieri and warnock
Sven-Göran Eriksson had 11 clubs and 4 nations
easiest way for french championship is just thinking of promoted teams or transfers for lower league clubs aka someone like michael olise
🧠🧠
Meslier for Leeds
Massengo and bajic for bristol city
God Tom is the most infuriating man in the space. He ruins everything
Roma mls Ashley cole hello?
Give tom the points
Don't know why but the first French player to play in the championship that came to mind was Lilian Nalis
Abduollah ba for me, must be cause i did a sunderland fm save last year
Regarding Stoke French connection - seems bollocks it wasn’t given. Why does it go on what he is currently? Surely if he was French at one point he still meets the requirement for the category?
who are you going to have dinner with you?
My family :D
Naaaah Tom should've got that point for the Stoke player. He was French at the time he played for Stoke....that needs changing for future episodes
Imbula was a French national when he played in the championship so I would have left him have it as it meets both categories 🤣
He never played a game in the championship though.
He was owned by a championship club though. They’ve allowed players before be correct when they were youth players with 0 appearances at clubs
But he never was on the starting XI, bench, or reserves when Stoke were in the Championship so it will never count
You obviously missed my point about they’ve accepted answers as correct in the past for youth players who’ve never registered a senior appearance before
@@gregsheehan283 He hasn't missed your point you literally put when he played in the Championship which he never did 😂
Technically, that answer about the former French soccer player was correct. Because the rules are that a player at some point in his career has to be in that club/league/win a trophy. Why doesn't that work with national teams?
not it wasn’t cause imbula never played in the EFL lol
Oh no not with this arrogant guy 🥱
toms a g su lad
Sarri has mangaed like 21 clubs
Lots of grinding in the lower italian leagues
Actually have to defend Tom here…
In 2016 Imbula was a Frenchman playing for Stoke, that has to be considered correct.
He’s never kicked a ball for Stoke in the championship so he’s wrong 🤣
@@thomasroche4076 that’s not how it works. Players have been considered as having “played” for a club despite never making an appearance frequently in Pingu’s series’.
Sorry to be negative but that was a poor showing by Tom for the managers. I thought that was a pretty easy tenable question. There is so many Journey men in the game like Hodgson, Bruce, Bielsa, Billic, Hiddink, Advocat - definitely separates the FIFA players from the proper ball knowledge.
Also the French Championship players……… maybe if he had to name a winner that would be harder but there is so many to name that have played in the league!
You need terms and conditions before the tic tac toe. Like warn the guest before hand that if the player has changed nation then it’s the nation they currently identify with. Just to avoid the controversies. Not that it’s that deep to be fair 😂
He never even played in the Championship anyway
@@nathan113 no I know, it happened recently as well though I can’t remember who with
Imbula never played in the Championship anyway
I can't comprehend how someone who doesn't know that Derby play their home games at Pride park does know the Stephane Sessegnon is from Benin! 🤔😂
That's some selective ball knowledge!
The ball knowledge of someone who's never been to a game and only plays fifa
Yeah true, although most people don't even know of the country Benin, the fact he's retained the information that a relatively obscure player is from there, but has never come across the fact that Derby play at Pride Park I do find truly baffling. I guess you're right, must just exlusive play FIFA and just not have a real interest in football outside of that - bizarre!
@@olihughesYeah but FIFA has all the flags on the car and something like Benin is so rare that it will stand out as memorable
I dont even know a lot of premier league stadium names. it's just something that never comes up at all unless you physically go to games.
@@olihughes I consider myself to have pretty good football knowledge and have never heard of pride park, knowing the names of stadiums is is just something that never comes up unless you go to games which I don't. you can only retain information that is actually presented to you.
Nah luke you scammed tom 😂 as long as he was french when he was in the championship it should count
