I am super impressed with this new XTool P2 Laser. Ive heard they are one of the best, and now I see why. There will be plenty more videos using this machine along with the conveyor system. There will be affiliate links below for everything in the video.
This is a great route to take to get started in the CNC market. This machine can do more than I can imagine. This video will cover the XTool Creative Space software and testing the laser out. Feel free to leave any feedback or questions in the comments.

Threw me off on the mid week release. So I watched it anyhow😊
Man that conveyor really opens up the door for some cool laser projects
Do you want me to bring it over?
There is a pressure indicator built-in to the conveyor. It's on the roller section. it changes color based on the correct pressure.
Instantly subscribed just because you sound like me when figuring shit out 😂😂
Another outstanding MACHINE demonstration!
Your the real Machine man keep up the good work.
another great vid ! now i have more ideas on stuff to do with my wifes p2 , just need to get hers moved out of my shop and set up in her space once i finish that so we can set the conveyor up
What? A mid-week video? Such an overachiever! 😁🍻
Haha. Well i know the laser videos can be boring for my regular viewers. It wasnt bad though
And Theeeeeeeeen....Machine!
Well done brother.....
I have yet to use mine, but I have a few thoughts and suggestions (as CZcams commenters do...):
1. Did you try using XCS in "Slats flat" mode with the tray not in the upmost position? I do think XCS will refuse to work with an error message.
2. Instead of guessing how to set up the pressure rollers check "Appendix 2 - Pressure levels recommended for common materials" in the manual 🙂.
3. For cutting with the conveyor feeder, using tabs is a really good idea. If parts of your cut pieces fall down they will block the conveyor mechanism.
4. With the conveyor feeder (and riser base generally) do take safety precautions, because the P2 becomes a class 4 laser. The laser beam can get reflected out of the enclosure and you'll only see that happen twice.
Thanks for the info!
Nice. Rise of the Machine! Awesome
Love the brand, "Machine", best of luck with the brand, I'm sure it'll do great. The conveyor is pretty cool, the fire was quite a surprise. You kept cool about it; you didn't charge in with a fire extinguisher or anything crazy like that lol
Hey Kyle, nice video!
For laser cutting solid wood you should, instead of just flooring it and go slow once, speed it up *significantly* and makes 2 - 3 passes. With this method, much less heat gets transferred into the material, but were the laser hits gets vaporized and the piece has time to cool down. This results in a *much* cleaner cut without burning and way less charring.
I sped it up on the machine sign and it was much better. Thanks for the pointers.
Excellent, Love the new Business Logo.
Thanks Mark!
I bet the Indiana sign would have fed better with a wider maybe full width board.
Pretty cool addition. Also, can't go wrong with "Machine". Best of luck with the brand!
Thank you!
The "Machine" branding and logo is genius! Love it!
Thanks! I appreciate that. Im pretty exited about it. Im working on some other cool things i want to do with it and id like to start doing some cool giveaways too.
@SpicerDesignsLLC Found your channel early on looking for a CK3510 review... Still haven't pulled the trigger on the f'n tractor, but I'm still watching your channel regularly. Lol You've come a long way. Best of luck!
Kyle, still watching this video, but paused it to just make this comment B4 I forget. On the conveyor, you could make or purchase adjustable height feed rollers, like I use when running long boards or material through my table saw . Just a thought, now back to the video! ... Your welcome!
Thanks john ! Good idea
I appreciate the in depth video about the conveyor system. You would think that the sacrificial metal bars or honeycomb tray would still be used so the laser doesn’t melt the supports under it. I think you just exposed a substantial design flaw. I was considering this conveyor but hold off.
The conveyor slats that go inside the laser during installation are made of metal, which this laser cannot affect. You can also mount the tray and I believe even the slats during the conveyor usage.
That Machine logo is awesome! Nice job
Thanks Doug! Im pretty happy with how it turned out.
I was so disappointed not to hear “Machine.” Then - Machine!!!
Now we need one of those little keychain voice recorders that every time you press the button it says "MACHINE!".
Hah! Thats a good idea
Lovin the new machine logo. The first part of the "N" should look like your folding tape measure. Just a thought.
Good idea. I was going to do something like that but i want to be able to cut it out of steel without too much detail. But yes that would be very fitting
Machine❤.
I'm waiting for a quote for a Thunder Nova 63 130W.
Your new sub Logo is a cool design ! Cut it on your Langmuir too !!!
Thanks! I do plan on making a nice metal version for the shop buildout.
You can change mm to inches in settings
Great fucken video brotha😊
Logo looks great!
Thanks!
@@SpicerDesignsLLC I heard tractors in there, fellow Kioti guy myself
@@UncleMattysGarage ive got some good upgrades on the Kioti coming soon.
HAHAHHA love IT!!!
Run the project again but put masking tape over it. After it engraves you can spray it with black paint. It will really pop when you remove the tape. Machine rules!
Great idea
Hello I hauled fuel heavy equipment now bim 65 retired
How much is a 'smidge' in metric?
Cool design, btw.
Think the board had some cupping, which might be the reason for slipping ?
I was thinking of your machine when we ordered these boards with events engraved on them for baby milestones. I was like pfft kyle can do a better job of these. 😂
That shop has all the goodies!.
Cheers 🍻 Kyle
Thanks buddy. Ya that stuff is expensive too
Nice set-up and video. They should have designed it with rollers on both sides enabling it to go right to the edge ends and would allow two points of control for longer pieces. If you were doing multiple similar pieces, I wonder if you could fab a jig on the table such as two angle iron runners slid into the edge of the material to ensure they travel in square. keep up the good work.
I thought about a more permanent setup that would allow you to square the material to the machine. I will keep your idea in mind
I bought this laser 4 months ago with every available accessory and haven't even unboxed it yet.
Crack that sucker open and start making stuff. You just to busy?
@@SpicerDesignsLLC Yeah. Home improvements. Wife wants a green house to ride out the Apocalypse. Solar Panels, guns, bullets, gold, silver, tactical nukes ... you get the idea. Nothing like nuclear fission in the morning. Everything a growing family needs!
@@thecentralscrutinizerr you can never be too prepared. My wife shakes her head every time i come home with ammo. Its pretty much every time i come home though.
My Siri answered your question by saying “I don’t have a body”.
Who's mass producing the "Machine " merchandise? You or Lynn???😂
I might have to hire Lynn to do it. I want her to take over ALL of your garage space.
@@SpicerDesignsLLC I better put heat in the barn...
A heat gun removes the store label really well.
Agreed, that is what I use and it works very well
The metric system is where it's at. USA...USA!
Will it cook a pizza?
You can run long projects but you still need at least 12 inches that you can't feed all the way or it will get off the feeder wheels
I wrote this before you said it on the video lol
Do you need safety glasses on when usinng the conveyor system.since the machine has open areas when running? Thanks.
Its always recommended to wear safety glasses.
This is totally off subject and I hope you don't mind the question was looking at the same CNC plasma table was wondering what size of of air compressor you use for your table to handle the CFM and if I need to go with a compressor that is 120 V or would be wise to have a 240 V or whatever going to have tue primeweld cut 60 the out put is 80 psi for 5 CFM .
No problem. I made a video a while back explaining everything you need to run that table. Might be work checking out. I just use a cheap 30gal husky 120v compressor. But i have a 45a plasma cutter. Not sure on requirements for the 60.
Hey man thanks for getting back with me appreciate it !!! Love the channel!! I'll check that video out
@@charliehuntsman9827 ya no problem. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
No Bloopers and no tripping😢
Sure thing skippy send me one of these dang machines ill show you how to make it smoke like your mommas pancakes
whose groin did you pull? Does your wife know?
Metric easy to deal with .. 😂 sorry but
That’s a serious failure you could have burned the machine down
Wasnt ideal but you should never leave the machine unattended where it could actually catch fire.
