Honestly, it should have been scarier. I read the book back in high school. I remember reading about the death of an infant after three Procompsognathus broke into a nursery and ate the baby. Or the death of "Ed Harris" is not sitting on a toilet all goofy like. He actually gets toyed with and ripped apart while Grant and the kids are forced to watch. The science was also a lot more intense in the book as well. I remember each chapter continued to add to a genome diagram. Would have loved to see a more horror based movie

We both read the book also, and grace mentions in the full episode how the book was 100% a horror novel. Although there are horror elements in Spielberg's movie (pablo also discusses this in the full episode), grace agrees with you. A horror-based movie would have been amazing!
