My Fenix TK45 is different but my LD20 hasn’t worked for months and that’s all it was the spring retainer was loose inside, it’s a left handed thread as well . Cleaned it all and tightened it down now as good as new! Thanks
I have the E21. At 4:26 you test with the key, depressing the batteries towards the front of the flashlight. If there's no spring in on the head side, how is it that the batteries have a springy action when depressed with the key? My batteries literally do not move when pressed on. However, if I remove the head side the batteries will slide out of the barrel. Also, how or why are you cleaning the threads when they do not make electrical contact? The threads only hold together the 3 pieces of the flashlight.

L A Police Gear CMPTAC 1600 lumens flashlight I got for half off , I thought it was half off for a reason when it wasn't working hahaha but I would definitely recommend there company awesome gear! PD36R won't show any indication light when plugged in. It flashes green and whatnot when in use but when you plug it in its just dead. Also when plugged in the flashlight will operate as though it's NOT plugged in. Meaning you can cycle through the intensities. I'm not holding my breath for the manufacturer to reply with anything more than an idea that a three year old can figure out.
My battery won't charge its tbe one u have to take out plug goes in battery light is red,turns green when done mines been charging for 24 hrs and light is still red
What if the led glows dimly when the batteries are inserted? Mine is a led lenses that has the 3 aaa battery trunk. Mine glows when it is inserted without the tailcap inserted.
Well, I took it apart and cleaned it (looks like a battery leaked) now it actually shuts off, but still only glows dim? The one plate looks like the coating has bubbled off, I think it's become scrap now. It was a nice light. Btw, I emailed coast customer service with no response. S.m.h
@@TheLedwarehouse I bought for 5 dollars at an liquidation I took it apart . It seems water got into it . I will leave it to the sun tomorrow see if it's helps .

maelstrom mmr-x tail switch ring was too loose...Fixed and Thanks!!!!
The retaining ring inside the tail cap of my Fenix LD10 was loose, it has a left-hand thread so tighten it counter-clockwise. Fixed!

Add a note that the inside of the end cap has a left hand thread!

Funny story! I thought I had a problem with my LED flashlight. I thought I got a bad one. Turns out the plastic was still on the battery 😢

sounds like a ground issue. But it could be a bad chip.

Ro D if the batteries are good, then it sounds like you have a bad head. Contact the manufacturer for warranty.

These flashlights suck! 1 of the 3 I purchased works consistently. Felix & warranties are useless
