    It would be interesting to see how your houses in Florida withstood the hurricane

    Curios about the roofing system and how do you hang TVs, artwork inside the house if there aren't studs to anchor into?

    I really enjoy the content, I really dislike the music. Could you do videos with simple narrative voice overs?

    I would be interested in finding out why you wouldn't spray the concrete on the inside as well as the outside and then have someone follow behind to smooth it out...

      Probably because sprayers can make a mess on the floor easily. It was probably a choice the home owner made to reduce chances of a mess.

      you can put a film on the floor during construction

      That's their process. I've also seen another builder use the concrete on the inside. I think it's Fox Block or something like that.

    Is this the same thing as Insulated Concrete Form houses?

    • @honeytubs
      @honeytubs Před 9 měsíci +2

      Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) is different. ICF is a system of hollow blocks that are stacked like Legos. The ICF blocks are forms that hold concrete in the inside.
      The system in the video gets strength from the concrete on the outside. The video does show holes with rebar inside which is similar to ICF.

    Doesn't look like anything for termites to eat.

    This looks like a really bad idea. There is almost nothing to provide structural integrity. It is lacking any kind of structural reinforcement, which makes this house look like a very dangerous place to live in. I am shocked to see that this is possible in Arizona. A similar, but much better system is called 3D EPS WIRE MESH PANELS also marketed as SRC or M2 panels depending on country. They are based on 3D-wire-mesh reinforcements with an EPS core and then covered in shotcrete or concrete plaster.
    Their marketing claims: "Remarkably simple, SABS (Saebi Alternative Building System) has only two parts. An EPS core that can range in thickness from 4 to 16 inches, depending on design and insulation needs, and a coating of Sabscrete on the exterior and interior of all surfaces. Together these make a three-layered composite building system that is suitable for any building type." I would love to see independently verified engineering and testing of these structures.
