I'm still bitter about Melissa's win :(. Shawn should've won!!! When I called back then and voted, I got "thank you for voting Melissa and Tony". What the hell?! If you watch Melissa's last dance she sucked. Shawn KILLED it. Derek's choreography was stellar the whole season!! They are the true winners in my opinion.

Melissa was one of the most mediocre winners ever, IMO, especially in a "all-star" season! It's really too bad that the producers had decided it was Tony's time to win, since Shawn was killing it the whole season, and Kelly had improved so much from her first season. I like Tony and I'm not even a Derek fan, but Derek and Shawn should have won. Years after this season aired, I still remember Shawn and Derek's freestyle, their mambo, cha-cha and other dances. The only dance of Melissa's I can recall without looking it up is her "Dirty Diana" dance and that's only because I thought it was really sloppy and couldn't understand why the judges gave it all 10's.

Come on guys! Stop saying that Shawn should've won! Why?
1.) She won one season with Mark Ballas.
2.) Derek would've now had 6 mirror ball trophies.
3.) Val and Tony haven't won any trophies.
4.) Shawn was really good but it wouldn't been fair to Kelly and Melissa if she got it.
So stop crying because Shawn didn't win!
Its not about being fair, the show is competition so the better dancer should have won. And a lot of people, including myself, believe that Shawn was a better dancer.
Kelly has one two by that logic - just saying
Melissa was a terrble dancer. She could not emote. She and Helio share the title of worst winner.

+Emily Whitehead It's silly to say that because the pro she was paired with hadn't won before that Melissa "deserved" it. I like Tony and I'm not even a fan of Derek, but Shawn was the best by miles that season. And Kelly Monaco also won her season, so it must have been decided by the producers to give the win to two people who had never won before.
