I wonder how much that "never felt like a star" feeling contributed to some of the stories we've heard of how he treated fans. I'm sure it wasn't every time, and I understand wanting to just get away, but we've probably heard some of those stories and wondered why he is the way he is. If you don't feel special, maybe you don't want people throwing their adoration at you. All I can hope is to one day be in his shoes and find out for myself.
