Gerry is the actual MVP GOAT of this show. Happy, settled, in his lane, moisturised.
And the biggest penis his doctor has ever seen.
*Jerry
Tom: poses like a chad but is a virgin in disguise
Jerry: poses like a virgin wizard but is is secretly a Gigachad
Donna was the only one who actually respected Jerry. She'd joke around with him but wouldn't actually abuse him like the rest of them.
Tertiary character solidarity
@@ottersintuxedos4981and bc she’s black and faces bullying also
Ben didn't even joke, and was real nice.
Wasn't she chanting Miurinal? Ron definitely didn't respect Jerry, but he also didn't actively try to humiliate him like everyone else
Ann and Leslie should be lucky that Jerry is a nice guy, because holy crap. That heart attack episode could've been a lawsuit.
Seriously? I mean, I've heard the stories about how many lawsuits happen in the US but this sounds insane, could someone seriously do that over there?
@@J75PootleI'm not a lawyer, but I suppose a case could be made for harassment. I feel like it wouldn't have much of a leg to stand on and would be dismissed. Plus Jerry would never
@@alisonselje2809 Sorry but it would have been easy for Jerry to fine an harassment suit against the entire department. Lots of evidence and with the whole heart attack thing, he could have won, and he should have. I hated the way they bullied him.
They are just lucky that Jerry had managed to tuck away that absolute monster in his pants by the time he was shuffling outta there. Would've changed their lives forever!
@@wintersbabyy This is the only valid lawsuit that Jerry could bring. Plenty of evidence for a culture of harassment.
The OP's suggestion is nonsense. A heart attack is in no way a reasonably expected outcome of their actions - there'd be zero civil liability.
They really were so mean to him and he was the nicest guy. But his story arc/end was the best.
Jerry being married to Christie Brinkley was an all time plot twist.
The fart-attack scene kills me every time especially 8:06 how Tom casually goes "Ohh no i didn't know that Jerry u ok?" after roasting the hell outta him🤣
Fart attack LOL
I loved the scene with the keys. Donna and Jerry’s friendship was sweet in its own way. 😂❤
Every time Jerry is hurt, console yourself with this: He has procreated multiple times with Christie Brinkley.
My favorite was the part about ann and chris having a kid. “I am very sad. Please stop talking.”
The way he perked up like my puppies do at the word "dinner" 😭
i was looking for someone else who noticed that because that filled me with glee
Lmfao I loved Jerry. I felt so bad for him
I did too … until we saw his family and the doctor said he had the largest “pension” he had ever seen. Gary/Jerry really had a great life 😂
@@realinsurancegalHe could have committed suicide though. Do you know how many people kill themselves because of workplace bullying?
@@wintersbabyyit ain’t that deep, it’s a silly comedy show with a town full of people that belong in an insane asylum. Time and place for a mental health soapbox, and this ain’t it
@@carlosjimenez8307 You don’t think it’s a bad idea for a comedy TV show to glorify workplace bullying as if it’s not a cause of suicide in real life? Or are you of the opinion that people are not influenced by what they see on TV?
@@wintersbabyy It’s not glorifying anything, it’s a comedy show not a serious drama nor a political thriller. The city councilmen in this show are literal sociopaths, Jerry himself treats Kyle like the others treat him, it’s all a joke and not meant to be taken so seriously. Especially not to the level of “he could have committed suicide”
Unless you’re a child or a moron, nobody sees this and thinks that “workplace bullying” is ok, just that a clumsy, goofy character is the butt of some amusing jokes, literally a staple of comedy.
Does anybody think that in the episode “Jerry’s Retirement” when Tom became the new Jerry is kind of karma for how he calls Ben a nerd? Some people in the department treat Ben poorly, like Andy who thinks things that Ben says are boring and April who annoys Ben and vice versa, but Tom just constantly called Ben a nerd even after he helped Tom with some of his businesses.
Ron’s face when Jerry ripped his pants and fated was priceless!
It takes a special man to end up becoming Mayor after all that, and not get vindictive over it.
Leslie's Tom impression was spot on ngl
Everyone's treatment of Jerry is my biggest problem with the show, and is probably one of the biggest reasons that I've never rewatched it. It's just so cruel.
Agreed, it's the one thing that I have a problem with, otherwise great show
Ben was really nice to him. Remember the capitain my captain scene...
He definitely gets some wins though, like finding dirt on the tent company that helps Ben and Leslie have a wedding, and not only does he become mayor right at the end, he stays in that position for the rest of his life. Jerry also has the ideal home life (Leslie does find it a bit creepy, but it still a win for Jerry), which he keeps separate from his work life, and when Chris is dating his daughter Millicent April steals Chris’s car keys so Millicent can’t go home with him. Not to mention he’s got the biggest penis in town, so much so the town Doctor is in awe, and used to have a body like Chris has (and Chris is the literally ultra health guy). Although it goes unacknowledged, his mural idea is the closest to the brief given, plus it’s his painting of that looks great despite the controversy over the content.
i usually skip it, didnt find it funny
@@jbcatz5 the last two season i can actually watch without skipping it
Poor Jerry at learning he was adopted.😢😢😢
I really didnt wanna play
I love how this show normalized workplace bullying with the characters showing little to no remorse for their actions. Except Donna of course, who "accidently" misspelled his name card during her wedding to where the rest of the co-workers started calling him by his actual name.,
Donna is the unsung hero of Parks and Rec!! I love me some Donna!
Exactly, it was so weird to watch. Workplace bullying should never be normalised, people have killed themselves for less. And it did nothing for the show too, like the show was great without it.
@@wintersbabyy
I think that's why they slowed down on the actual bullying and instead turned it more into how they laughed at how much of a klutz he is. It is also probably why they had that "Jerry dinner" episode where we see that actually lots of people enjoy his company, Ann defends him, and later on even Ben is shown as one of his actual friends.
In the first few seasons they're absolutely awful to him, in the later seasons it's more about teasing him and laughing at the clumsy things he does while showing that everybody actually cares about him (even April when she messes up with Chris because of Jerry's shock of seeing his daughter and Chris rubbing against each other while dancing.)
yeah, it was a real bad call @@wintersbabyy
The Office is worse about it. Unlike Toby, who Michael treated horribly with no pushback just because Toby was doing his job, Jerry does get recognised as being mistreated and people do show support for him whilst those mistreating him get called out.
Thanks God his character had an amazing wife and family, that way it's more funnier than sad.
Every single time that they were mean to Jerry just destroyed the show for me a little bit, ik it's supposed to be funny, but it just ruins every single character, like how am I supposed to root for Leslie or April or Andy when they're just straight up mean to a very nice guy for literally no reason, except maybe that they think he's not cool which is arguably even worse, I try my hardest to ignore those scenes, that aspect of the show makes you feel you're rooting for the mean popular high school bullies if you root for literally any of the other characters
It feels out of character for Leslie too.
April it makes sense, she's a jerk to lots of people and hates everybody.
Andy it felt out of character too when he was actually mean to him. Because Andy laughing and being all "HAHAHAA CLASSIC" is fine, it's goofy Andy. But when he was mean and rude to him I was really "wtf, Andy ?"
And Leslie is someone who normally cares for people, fights for justice and rights, isn't the kind to bully, etc., so it was so weird to see her actively participating in the bullying. Her laughing here and there would make sense, but sometimes she was super harsh with him, even starting a bully chant or something.
Agree, and I'll add that I've never rooted for April because she was always a mean, childish, unbearable person. I've known people like her in real life and you just can't wait to get away from them, idk why or how anyone likes her.
Here’s something important about April. She was mentored by Ron, a man who thinks the government is a joke but still works in it and Ron isn’t really the kindest guy in the world. In one episode, she told Ron that she wants to be like him and NOT do things. Ideally, she’s just mean to Ann but it had something to do with them and Andy. She’s not too mean to others because they are superior to her, such as Leslie and Ron.
They can’t even remember his name, sometimes it’s Larry, Terry and even Garry
Jerry is basically like Scully and Hitchcock from B99 but the 99 only sees the two as lazy and nuisances while Jerry is just harassed by the parks department.
Also skulls and Hitchcock were much weirder where as Jerry is just clumsy.
The big difference is that Flat-Top and The Freak were legends that merely adopted the rut. Jerry was born to it.
Jerry is so awesome.
They shouldn’t pick on him.
He’s so respectful.
He’s like Butters.
Or John Candy if he were still alive; anyone here a fan of Candy's?
It doesn't matter how many times that I see it, I always laugh hysterically through Larry's entire presentation.
Jerry had the last laugh, he lived a long and happy perfect life with his perfect family.
The mural one is so damn sad
Watching this makes me realise how many good one liners Tom has
Just watched this video 9364936392 times, time really flies when you are having fun 😢
Larry,Jerry just wants things to go smoothly but somehow his day just gets ruined.
The whole Jerry bullying was the only part I legitimately disliked in this show. Sometimes it was just dumb comedy, which I can live with. But it got to a point where it felt so low effort it just didn't match the vibe the rest of the show had and it became appalling.
I did like the running gag of everyone misspelling his name, cause I also have a name that gets misspelled a lot.
I'm glad the sorta gave him a decent side story with his family. I wished I could've seen a bit more of that and a bit less fart jokes.
Jerry deserved better from his job. Luckily his wife looks like Christie Brinkley.
0:28 That freakin poster on the wall "safe parks now!"
Jerry is my favorite. ❤
I love Jerry ! ❤
He did not deserve what they put him through.
It’s so grim it’s amazing
1:36 "my marbles are full of mouth today." lol
I just want the doctor to say that Jerry had a Fart Attack
I really love Jerry he is so funny
I luv Jerry Gergich
Jerry really should've reported to Chris and Ben about working in an overly hostile environment.
Little Chicago Indiana 👍🏿
I love Jerry and the fact that his coworkers were so awful to him. He is wonderful and kind and winning at life and the fact that his coworkers ruthlessly tease him and can’t see his awesomeness reiterates the ridiculousness of his coworkers.
I'd like to think that if The Office ever had a crossover with Parks and Recreation, Jerry Gergich and Toby Flenderson would instantly become best friends.
Jerry's mural part breaks my heart 💔😢
I hate how mean they were to Jerry, but I’m pretty the actor was okay with it. Like it was a planned thing. It’s okay to laugh. Just remember it’s acting, just don’t do it IN REAL LIFE.
Both. It's a whole story.
it was Jerry’s last weep retiring from the parks and rec dept. Everything else for him was perfect
Who’s me? Is it someone’s job at NBC to watch episodes of “Parks and Rec” and then make complications based on what scenes gave them which emotional responses? Because if so how do I get that job?
"You don't have a second egg?!"
Most memorable Mark scene is about Jerry.
Lmfao the heart attack has always had me crying laughing
*Fart attack
Safe parks now. See this photo of our colleague? Do you want this to happen to you!? Safe parks now! Right now! Starting now! Do it now! Now!
6:16 what is that phone
I wish I could photoshop my life with better decisions. That April Burn must have hurt Jerry so hard.😂😂
Nah, definitely not. His life decisions include marrying a beautiful and lovely wife, and working a job that (despite his coworkers picking on him) he is really passionate about
@@dylankrejci9965 lol what is Jerry’s job he is always at a desk but never doing anything. And the one time he had to do a presentation he mixed the slides up with his vacation to Muncy, ripped his pants in-front of his colleagues and farted. He made Tom and Donna go speechless and they never stop talking on a normal day.
I dont know whats sadder this video or the fact this is prob one of the only video to include Mark
I liked the art Jerry….
They’re lucky Jerrys a nice guy, he would’ve had good ground to sue the department and probably Ron for allowing a workplace bullying environment. Also the heart attack.
DAMN IT LARRY WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE
I’m glad they are making Terry his own comps. They should really spell his name right.
I don't think Garry and Gayle go to Muncie for the sightseeing. If you know what I mean.
I don't
@@dant.3505Jerry was hung like a horse. In one episode, the doctor did not get to examine Jerry because he was mesmerized by the size of Jerry's sausage.
Oh, my
And then he became the mayor of Pawnee.
Not just any mayor. THE mayor.
Photoshop your life with better decisions 😂😂😂😂😂
Well, bye Jerrod!
Why did I watch this? I love this show EXCEPT for the way they treat Garry/jerry/terry/larry. It’s such a bummer!
rip larry
What is his name.
they may lauh but i know that jerry with his realitybending powers could wipe them from the face of the earth.
Some one should really call the scp-foundatiom
This gets funnier the longer you watch. At first you feel so bad for him and then it just gets sooooo funny
I was the opposite. Super funny until they were reading all of his kind emails they trashed and after that I just felt bad for the poor guy
Social engineering at work.
It’s so hard to watch the scene where he learns he was adopted
I think you mean Terry, or Larry....
4:11 can you Photoshop your past mistakes 😅no you can't
Leslie needed to be nicer to Jerry. Period.
Who’s “Me”? Is this channel run by someone specific?!
Interesting title?
MUNCIE HELL YEAH BUT THAT DOESNT LOOK LIKE ANYPLACE IN OUR TOWN
Nvm that’s the minnatrista just a lil apple orchard
And this just makes me sad
honestly Tom has became easily the most insufferable guy in the entire department
Who is Jerry?
Is it Gary or Jerry?
It’s Larry now
Originally, it's Gary. But, that evolved into Jerry, then Larry.
Garry, with two R's.
@@Ascending11Don’t forget Terry.
You can actually get a fart during a heart attack?
Hated how they treated him half the time and those scenes just weren’t funny. Took me out of the show.
This is the one thing I didn't like about this show. They were so mean to him.
Wide awake in the comments 😂
They filmed an episode where Jerry snaps and shoots up the office, but decided not to air it because it ruined the whole vibe of the show.
Every great, long running show has one horrible aspect. Every time it happens on screen, which is usually twice every two episodes, you’re miserable and you want it to stop. Everything else about the show is incredible, but that is horrible. Trust me, it’s almost every time. And for Parks, that horrible element was the constant abuse of Garry. My god, what were the writers thinking? And they kept it for 7 seasons? At least season 6 Ben and season 7 Donna knew what was up
Who the heck is Jerry?
Nothing funny about cruelty.
I know it's comedy and all, but seriously I did not like normalizing bullying.......
This character and the others reaction to him made no sense. It was the kind of lazy writing that kept P&R from ever ascending into a good show.
Mark hahahaha I’m dead. I’ve watched this show like 3 times through and I don’t remember that line lol oh my glob. He destroyed Jerry……er Gary
