@levischittlord6558 I've made this twice now. It's so good. It does take 8 hours plus to be ready or it will be crunchy. Better soft, I added 1 tablespoon of vanilla (perfect amount), and when done with mixing heavy cream 2 cups and condensed milk 1 can +vanilla. I folded in a tub of cool whip. Which makes a lot of cream. I used Chirardelli Carmel. 9×11 is the dish size I used. There was some cream left over so this amount should be good for a 9×13 dish also. To me this dessert is addicting. I mean addicting after you have this as time goes by this will be the only thing you can think of. When putting your layers of cream on DO NOT SPREAD ON THIN. ALSO DO NOT DIP COOKIES IN MILK. LAY THEM OUT LIKE THIS GUY DID.

As long as the mixture isn't too thick the cookies will soak it right up, icebox cakes I usually let sit for about 6 hours.
But the longer you let the cake sit the better
