So I’m a Gemini MC also. I have spent my entire life being bored with each job. I’m ready to retire and my last job that didn’t really pay well was as a Medical Lab Courier. But it was one of my better jobs. I drove around without a boss hanging over my shoulders.
I have North node in the same sign as my midheaven and can definitely relate to the idea that I am not comfortable doing the thing the world expects from me

Leo midheaven here and I was 100% in the marching band in high school! At my jobs I usually find myself being known pretty fast by the CEOs, CFOs, administrators and will usually work with them on things. Despite being a couple of pegs lower on the totem pole.

Pisces midheaven at 29°54' (Jupiter at 0°15'Aries in the 10th House cusp). You're singing my song in your description of Pisces midheaven. My North Node is also in Pisces (18°). I have never had a job in something I love (except for my current business) but have always chosen to be passionate about whatever job I'm in and find ways to inspire people in that context. 73 years old. Recently wrote 4 novels for a service that offers ghostwriting for rich people who want to put their names on a book. I will never do that again, but it surprised and delighted me how easy it was to lose myself in a world I was inventing. My next novels are a fantasy series I'm writing that MY name will go on 😎😜. I'm also a prizewinning published Indie poet with 4 chapbooks and a full length collection that's about...dreams.

Cassandra! You never stop amazing me! I have Gemini midheaven and I finally found a career that is my life meaning thanks to YOU! I work as a Counselor in a prison re-entry program. It’s talking to people, emails, phone calls, but also paperwork where I have to investigate and learn and then use creativity to document. My moon is Taurus- and let me tell you that my office has a huge bay window, I have the best comfy desk chair, plants everywhere with beautiful decorations placed throughout. Thank you for the reading I had last year that helped me understand my midheaven and in fact helped me find this career! Big hugs !

Happy to hear you emphasize the importance of planet! I have a Cancer MC and for years astrologers told me to focus on “nurturing” jobs which did not resonate with! My moon in Aqua in 5th house. The combination is needed to integrate the message.
The explanation around 1:40:00 (maybe a bit further) about the difference between mc and north node and the explanation of the north and south nodes, putting it in perspective and giving a visual of sorts, is the best one I've heard so far. I haven't heard a single astrologer explain it in that way. So that was very informative and helpful 👍

Lived my midheaven for years (mh is in Cancer along with my moon!) as an aesthetician in a spa and it destroyed me. I think I never learned how to properly hold my own energy and my health broke down from it in 2018. I am still recovering and have not been able to work since.
Midheaven in Pisces 9th house. I do DIY miniature dioramas using found objects, paper, clay, etc. and display them at my work place. I enjoy the kid’s reactions. I don’t get paid for it-I wish I did-but it gives me more purpose for working there.

I just signed up for an astrocartography certification course. I've been studying astrology since I was about 9 years old. My MC is in Sagittarius at 6° of my 11th house.
I looked at the chart of the moment that I got the email that I had paid for the registration which was instantaneous and the transiting full Saturn Moon was exactly on my MC at 6° with about a difference of maybe 20 minutes. Isn't that unbelievable!

Sagittarius midheaven with sun, Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus on the 10th house cusp. I’m a late bloomer and found my calling as a financial advisor. Lots of higher education when trying to establish your own wealth management firm. My Saturn is conjunct Venus in Scorpio 8th house. Learning is a challenge and finance is a deep rabbit hole to go down in.

What a difference it makes if you have your MC in the 11th house vs the 10th. I'm learning that when you have your MC in the 10th house, you will stick with a career path throughout your life. In my case and in others, when you have your MC in the 11th house you can have many, many careers!

Question: Is Aries always considered the first house, and Capricorn the 10th house, or is the house for the sign you were born in always the 1st house in a chart and then you would count from there to identify the 10th house?
According to a chart I had done for me, I have multiple planets aspecting my midheaven ♋️:

Ascendant ♎️ square MC

Saturn ♓️ trine MC

Yes, traditional astrology can be very fatalistic but there are also always mitigations!
For instance, I have Saturn conjunct Venus Pisces in the second house.. and Saturn is conjunct Sun my seventh house ruler, also of course, in Pisces.
So this is not the best position for romance because Saturn delays but it doesn't deny. So eventually I found my partner. He passed away after 10 years but at least I found my marital partner at 42 years old.

My 14yr ol son's MC is 14 deg in Cancer, near SOUTH Node (18deg) (is Libra Rising), moon at 13 deg in 7th House Taurus, but his IC (4th house Capricorn) is very close (15 degrees) to his NORTH NODE (retrograde) at 18 degrees Capricorn - this is confusing me the most. What happens when South Node is with MC & North Node is conjunct or in orb of IC??
