Calibre at Ritual London

West London's premiere electronic music night RITUAL showcases heavyweights of the dance music world at state of the art venue Under The Bridge, Chelsea.
Ritual is a monthly night from the team behind Tempo Tantrum and The Music League championing the best in electronic music, taking place at stylish and recently launched west London music venue Under the Bridge. Bringing forward-thinking line-ups to an area of London which has historically only catered for a mainstream crowd, Ritual is quickly becoming the rite of passage for any electronic music enthusiast, showcasing the best sounds across the electronic spectrum including house, techno, electro, breaks, funky, disco and bass.
Brought together by two ambitious females with a wealth of experience within the music industry, Ritual is described to be the night the East London party is moved to the West side of town. It is set to become an essential game-changer for the electronic music scene, combining the highest calibre of electronic artists with state of the art sound and visuals, in what will be an utterly unique and memorable clubbing experience.

Actually, back in the days around 2003-'05 he indeed was quite notorious for not being the nicest person to deal with, at least when it comes to random dudes from a promoters entourage crossing up for a chat ;) ...not in an offensive way though, rather 'charmingly rude' if that maked any sense.
Fully aware of this (and with a tounge-in-cheek "go!" from the promoter beforehand), I once took the plunge and gave him propz for his set, just a kind one-liner... before I could finish my sentence he'd just turn away from me, half-bored, half-disgusted 😅 we lold hard (we = everyone around, minus cal.)

I can assure you this man is not cynical, a deep thinker yes, but not cynical. If there were days when he was rude they're long gone, he actually said one of the nicest things anyone's ever said to me not long ago.
