its amazing what one can do with units/heroes without a single ability (TC always mana burned). just 1 type of meele fighters running around, but it still felt like sooo much was going on

The NElf couldve had better micro, but this is how I used to love playing NE: utilizing movement speed and night sight to relentlessly hunt down and ambush the enemy, or creepjack. you only need 4 hunts to surround if you're good, and don't even need a Keeper. It's way more fun than when archers took over as meta years ago.
Something about Grubby's micro is pure magic, it's special in so many ways.

in all seriousness though, why not use the WALL them in with towers strategy? each base typically have 2 entrances, 2 towers at each entrance + catapults = victory in the bags XD

you know given how orc has grunts as both a t1 and t2 unit(with savage strength upgrade), most magic units hits like wet noodles even after the armor type 200% boost, and many orc players crying that orcs sucks at frontal assult mid game given raider's poor attack type and stats, I often wonder why they don't just use upgraded grunts for their army if frontal assult is what they are looking for. 2 raiders is enough, you don't need like 6 of them if an all in style map control dominance is what they want.

hunts beat grunts pretty badly. Not only do they have more movement, but mathematically they put out more DPS than the extra life a grunt has. so the fact Grubby did better is impressive.

Do you think its worth 4 food to keep an archer concealed at each foutain when playing vs orc on this map?
Wouldn't they get slaughtered indirectly by mobs there ?
Also would be better to stick a Wisp in some nook in the trees that is really hard for melee units to hit, but out of aggro range of the Creeps.

these opponents drive me a bit nuts to watch--at no point was he in the lead, even after he caught TC, and he apparently thought more and more pressure was the answer. he never at any point seemed to stop and regroup lol. I just keep thinking, my guy you are losing, your dh is 4 and tc is 6.
He thought no mana TC is useless against DH and his armies especially if that TC picked shockwave as first spell. 😂
