Aye quite right - when i first went to life outside of Britain it shocked me how almost every other country in the world refers to the UK as 'England'. Fair enough if you are speaking JUST about England, like the Lake District or somewhere... but normally they mean somethinng that applies to the whole of the UK! As a Scot, i hate that habit - 10 million Celts dismissed in a word!
Since then Dennis has seen the light and is now conservative on issues other than social, and he's coming around there too ;) He's brilliant man with quite a vocabulary.
To be fair, Dennis and Bill were hardly the avatars of style. 1992 saw many young men getting undercuts so they could then grow the rest out to emulate Nirvana.

I dare say it's been my Country for a wee bit longer than yours, seeing as I now very old but still have the wit to support the team from where I was born. And it's not an easy thing to do...the only cups we see are filled with Bovril. :-)
