Strike zone is 3D. The zone on TV shows where the ball was when it crossed the front of the plate. The ball can drop into the zone and it should still be a strike.

Max Scherzer seems to be a blast to hang out with so long as he's not starting that day. On days he takes the mound, he's been known to be a tad bit intense. I love it. As a Nationals fan, my heart broke a bit when they traded him.
