Schläpfer is one of the most importend chreographers in the ballett world. The couple - I say: Sie können nicht miteinander -sie können nicht ohne einander! I like it in our times.

So interesting that English (and American english) is the language used in class and rehearsals in companies all over the world.
Good observation.
It's the same with opera as well, like ABT, most companies are multi-national casts, so they speak English so people can understand them, instead of speaking the national language.

I HATE how the American trend of wearing athletic clothing, as if they're all running a marathon or jogging on a treadmill and not doing a ballet class, has infiltrated the world
Ballet clothes are very expensive…plus you don’t get a lot of diversity in them..
