Are these airtable templates still available? I do not see an option to create an account on your website.
I use QuickBooks desktop version. When I take a load, I create an invoice and attach the rate con, BOL's etc. to it. When I run the load, I email the invoice to the company and it sends all the attachments. The best part is that all accountants work with QuickBooks so there's no paying someone else to correlate data to prepare for taxes. And the software costs $200 and can be used for 3 years...that comes up to $5.55 per month. AND the data is all on YOUR computer not in the cloud somewhere. I've always said that if you could own just one piece of software, I'd pick a spreadsheet due to it's versatility, but QuickBooks is the best for doing your books.

@@yd_kingdom If you are starting up a trucking company, you need to have 10-15K saved up to cover your expenses until the checks start rolling in. And using a credit card, especially one that pays cash back means that the card payment is due about the same time the checks come in. So I save the 2.75% factoring fee plus get 1% cash back for my expenses. Adds up quite a lot over a years time!
@TozY Yes, I do. I don't pay for dispatch, won't ever factor and whenever possible, I do all my own maintenance. Oh, and the cost of QuickBooks is now an annual subscription for $549 for the desktop pro version.

Hi Alex, Can you show us how you use Slack and Airtable to send Load details to the Drivers?
We started using this program about 6 to 8 months ago and it was fairly easy to figure out and it helps keep track of everything! It is also fairly simple, once you have used it for a bit. It does seem there is always something new to learn though. Very glad you got me to check out airtable from watching your videos. One thing, if any one starts using it and your afraid you screwed something up. There is a undo button, lol

You should also check out FOGLINE SOFTWARE this does the same thing that you're Airtable does also there is videos on all of them before you commit to them

If I may though, he also pays his wife a salary. I believe. So don't forget if you have a significant other helping, they will need payed somehow as well.
@@havenmoontransportationhs2718 absolutely. I going to buy a daycab semi for GA runs and our surrounding states ONLY and just trying to factor all the stuff I need before I pay myself. Some people told me they pay themselves in a lump sum at the end of the month after expenses

@@jlovetheflash5371 yeah, I was referring to a previous video. In the comments someone asked for a mega long update and he replied "it's sold" with nothing else. I'm curious if it was just to much trouble compared to the rentals.

As a content creator I have to pay attention to what and why a video does well. If I upload videos that do not do well the CZcams algorithm stops showing them to my audience
