2.4L/100km @100 isn't possible. Then how come the consumption nearly doubles to 4.5L at just 13km more? I'll accept somewhere around 4.0L at that speed, nothing less. These 🐑 in comment section actually believe the trip computer lol.. what a joke

drag increases by the of the square of the speed

it is because air drag increases exponentially above 80kmh. generally for gasoline engines every 10kmh above 100 means about 1l/100km more. it is realistic. there is also the law of diminishing returns, so couple it with aerodynamics and it makes sense. maybe 2.4 is a bit low, i could say maybe 3.2 is more realistic but nonetheless it is good

actually it is around 3 at 100, just got my c220d limousine. and at 120 is between 4.3-4.6 on winter tires! cant wait one more month to switch to summer tires :)

The fuel Consumption is very low, almost at 'low' speed. When i red 2.4 i got schocked(positive) :-D nice
But i got more schocked when i saw the big jump from -140 km/h with 5.8l / 100km- to -160km/h with 9.0l/100km- :O

Ovo 9 litara nije tacno, jeste ovo lubeničar nije limuzina, al preko 6.5 ne prelazi, onaj 2.2 od 170 konja stari motor pa mu je 7.8 na 160 na sat, prosto je sve izracunati

Schon krass, dass 60 kmh Unterschied zu 7 L Mehrverbrauch führen.
Auch wenn ich die 2,3 bei 100 als sehr unrealistisch einschätze.

BIRKERBOYZ ich fahre meinen C300d 4matic von Mainz nach Frankfurt im Berufsverkehr zwischen 3.9-4.5L. So unrealistisch ist das nicht.
