When Hsieh plays good she makes her opponents look like clowns
She barely won against Halep and the following year she got annihilated at Eastbourne by Halep.
You're 100% right. Halep and Osaka seemed like U14 Players
No hate against them, they are two amazing players, I just want to underline how Smart Hsieh is
@@noabengosu well if you know anything about Hsieh, it's that she is very inconsistent week to week.
And Muguruza
Only Osaka and Halep showed total respect and sportmanship to Hsieh. The rest have either murdered Hsieh on their dreams or swearing at her from then, now and forever.
哪來的謝長廷?翻譯要注意
to be fair Andreescu touched rackets with Hsiesh probably due to Covid, so she did show respect
@@Pixeliarmus Yeah absolutely. I checked the year
Su Wei is a wonderful player and a great human being, she should be valued more because she has a great game.
Magic touch of Hsieh Su-Wei will never get old. She's a gem, both as a person and a player.
She is definitely my favorite female player to watch. Many of these matches listed she was down in the third set never giving up and plays every point. Thank you for compiling these clips!
She always has a tactical game, that’s what makes her special.
It's a shame so few opponents made a proper handshake. Couldn't admit getting outplayed
She's one of the best defense players of all time and very crafty, similar to Radwanska but more tricky
She even beat Radwanska playing that game.
No, she's not a defense player. She's a mix of everything. Women tennis had never seen a player like that so many players had no idea how to play her the first time. But usually the top players would be able to figure out how to beat her.
Radwanska and her have similarity but Hsieh's balls a lot flatter. Top players know how to counter her by cutting off her angles and giving her more spin so she can't play her trickery.
But when she was laughing in Konta's face at the net after winning....LMAOOOOO! Apparently she said it was the first time her husbands parents were in the crowd and she didn't want to disappoint lolol love her forever
She seems like such a cool person. So chill and down to earth
Thank you for sharing proud of Taiwan Hsieh Su Wei 🇹🇼
She is the magician in women’s tennis after Radwanska’s retirement. Maybe their 2018 AUS Open match foretold she would take her place.
3:23 someone in the crowd rooting for Hsieh during the lob’s flight over a helpless Radwanska: “get in” 😂
The redirect queen!!? I love her! She is amazing in singles and doubles! Such a lovely spirit. When players come against Hseih they better start running 🏃♀️!!
the trick is to really not give her pace.
I miss hsieh 😭
Me too 😭 I hope she didn't retire yet
She’s back and with a slam win 🎉
@@mrnowak2835and another last weekend
@@maximilian2974Two more this year
She’s back
people say she has no power but I don't get it: you can clearly see she also generates her own power and she's not afraid to go for winners
Naomi Osaka said she hits very hard compared to other players.
While power is good, Hsieh has a very smart, multidimensional game. So many current WTA players think that just hitting hard from the baseline is enough. I wish more would use more S&V tactics.
@@candiceejones so true just watching her against Halep underscores that. There were plenty of opportunities for Serena to give Hsieh a dose of her own medicine and lightly tap the ball when Hsieh would've been too far to reach it from the baseline, but she still insisted on hitting these power shots at her
@@aromaticchicken518 same with Pliskova and Osaka!
@@candiceejones if she has ability to serve like serena, she totally has a chance on wimbledon single
Obsessed with the way she returns balls like she's playing golf and still manages to gets points. It just reads like it absolutely shouldn't work but it does. Iconic!
All they have is their grunting screaming power ---when that fails them Hsieh's multiple, seemingly effortless skills, drives them to distraction and befuddlement, and leaves them scratching their heads.
Her shot making and shot selection reminds me so much of volleyball and badminton players. You can see how tapping into other sports can diversify your game.
It's serve-and-volley. A style which is almost extinct in tennis today. You saw more of it in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. But as racket technology changed, balls changed, and grass and hard courts slowed, it kind of fell out. It's definitely a style that can still be done, but it requires being able to move fast and it takes a lot of time to get good at doing, which is why players either shy away from it or it isn't really taught as much today. Hsieh is really the only WTA player using it (some all court players will use it as a tactic but not for their complete game), and maybe a handful of the guys are doing it. People like Dustin Brown, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Mischa Zverev, and a few others. Some players who use it as a tactic are Kyrgios, Federer, Medvedev, Monfils, etc.
Does anyone know if her racket has a unicorn hair, a dragon heartstring or a phoenix feather?
lol I have no idea but it seems to be working for her
I think it's a qilin scale.
Hsieh made Mugu look like the biggest clown of all and Im happy about it
Same here. Lumbering screamer.
Fav player. here's to hoping she wins the French open next week!!
As much as I love her, she can hardly win a match on clay so I don’t think so. We can hope that she wins Wimbledon or US Open though
@@jaysandhu3345 with that attitude she won't win any matches
@@sludgebob5961 how is my attitude affecting her? She doesn’t read these comments
@@jaysandhu3345 it's a figure of speech If you truly believe she won't win, how can she? She's already lost in your eyes.
@@sludgebob5961 wow that’s incredibly rude of you to call me a ‘dipshit’. Learn some manners young man. I never said anything to offend you and simply questioned what you said.
Many champions should thank her for beating many potential champions
When this woman is on she is unbeatable wish she had more power in her serve 😩
love her! you can tell the rest of the WTA hate her by how infuriated they are at the net when conceding. sabalenka couldn't get out of there quick enough! such a disarming opponent.
to think that hsieh beat halep at wimbledon the year before halep won wimbledon - insane! just love her.
Naomi and simona are the most classy of them, too bad hsieh had to play with such cold players lol
Wow how beautiful plays this lady it's absolutely amazing
Hsieh is simply great and the fact that only Osaka showed her a smile and was really nice with her means a lot talking about the Japanese player
What a pleasure to watch. Through the screamings we can hear the craving for victory of almost all players. It seems to me that there is no pleasure in it.
Fabrice Santoro of WTA!!!!
Magician!!
Look at all the handshakes, most opponents were just mad and didn't show Hsieh much respect. They didn't appreciate how much Hsieh had put in to beat them as an underdog. They just wanted to move on and play a "normal" tennis player. Wozniacki, Osaka, and Halep understood what just happened and showed respect. Radwańska the worst.
Osaka ALWAYS shows respect to her opponent; win or lose.
Hseih is the only female player I follow, I love the way she plays.
She has everything for the game on grass, the variety of her shots is wonderful
Love her ❤️😊 She can beat anybody any given day ‼️🎾
I love how Hsieh is so happy when she wins and how her opponents are so mad and classless when they shake her hand.
0:44 Hsieh draws the "F Word" out of opponent. That is a victory in my mind! 😆
I didn’t hear anything
@@kecleonboi i heard it
@@andrewcannon587 what time
We heard the scream, it was not the F word.
love to watch Radwanska and Su . no power but too smart and calm.
hsieh and iga. the freshest games in all of WTA.
That halep match was sooo entertaining
Hsieh is probably the biggest nightmare for counter punchers like radwanska wozniacki n kerber
and Halep.
And baseline fail too ,llike muguruza and pliskova
Love her so much ♥️
Taiwan‼️ You should be well pleased with this daughter.....
Nothing quite like watching Hsieh make good players look silly
Sabalenka was totally confused and frustrated…..by the Magician
She was very tired
Hsieh is amazing. 😍
Love her
Probably the best active player to never win a grand slam or at least getting into top-10 of rankings! There are so many top players in women’s game these days, who definitely do not deserve their spot inside top-10 over someone like Hsieh nor don’t they deserve a grand slam trophy, yet they do...i will never understand that!…
Loved her in Australian doubles this year 2024 and then to win the mixed with a bloke she hadn't played with.Makes the doubles events interesting.Less BBBs(Boring baseline bangers....More Swieh please.ps Mertens is a handy player too.😂
有一種態度 叫做風度 就是Hsieh Su-Wei~
I watched n.1 live at wimbledon 😍
wow , u made me more excited for Wang-Hsieh match at roland garros 1st round ❤️🥰
Thank you for this video.
I like H Su-W ....
... inteligent tennis !!?......
The key to Hsieh's success is her loose racket tension which gives incredible control. She can literally place the ball anywhere she wants. The other side of that is that her racket generates very little power. Its an old school racket. And she hasn't broken a string in like 8 years.
無庸置疑的她是一個很會玩球的選手,妳可以打贏她,但妳絕對玩不過她
very entertaining !
Csodalatos jatekos , az ilyen jatekot szeretem , nem az eroteniszt !
Unique player
Those faces when they had to shake hands with Hsieh, priceless 😂
Would love to see Hsieh play Ons Jabeur - now THAT would be a treat, wouldn't it??
She is simply unique, no one is like her
She a unicorn 🦄
Hsieh has a great command of the height and depth of her shots, so she can really move her opponents around and test their footwork and foot speed. If they are not at their best in fitness and mobility, Hsieh can toy with them and they will look really bad. At times it almost looks like Hsieh is playing video game tennis when she is in the zone.
“Game set and match andreescu”
I heard that 😂 referee had one job lol
Hsieh and Radwanska😅
where's the kerber-hsieh match in 2018 ao ??? She played really really well that match
She didn’t win that match tho
@@bqnanaaa4838 but i believe that was one of her best match, she gave every thing one court, while in 2019 dubai, she was almost dominated kerber in the third set
Really enjoy how su wei plays, really smart🤗😄👍, but can also imagine how trying😠 and 🙄 to play against her. It was like "how dare you to tease me by such tricks! Fvvvck!"
To this circumstances, Naomi is a real decent and respectful player.
And Simona
Is a player very very special
The bunny chaser: Su Wei
Incredible to see Halep stay back even when having blasted fierce groundstrokes into the corners. She would have had easy volleys to put away but instead let the rallies continue. Playing a defensive player!
Typically WTA...
She sucks at volleying. Her grip for ground strokes isn’t good for volleying
@@kecleonboi Yeah, but that's not the reason: every player changes grip when going to the net
@@ArthurVerhulst they’re supposed to. Doesn’t mean they always do
now THIS is a compilation
Kerber just quit. What a pro.
SW.Hsieh will win the first match at Roland Garros 2021.
I'm not the biggest pro in Tennis, but i'm not surprise if she got the best slice ever. And drop shot !!!
Could you please do Kvitova best matches
🎉
Most of her opponents gave awkward hand shake. Why not? They were mentally tortured for her unpredictable game plan and were physically exhausted from running here and there like tom n jerry or road runner in the tennis court...mip mip mip mip😂
Kerber is one of them, she ran around and she was exhausted
Where is she? After AO didn't see her often.
Just due to her game it always looks like she's making her opponents lose rather than winning on her own. Produces some of the most beautiful matches but terrible for her consistency in the singles game (her doubles cabinet speaks for itself)
Her style can win some matches because it's so unorthodox that it throws some players off, but it's not a style that will win many singles tournaments. Doubles is another matter.
SW.Hsieh will win one grand slam champion!
she has won four Grand Slams already, three times Wimbledon and one French.
ok, doubles, but that's usually the more interesting Tennis anyway.
@@grunchlk Sadly she will not win a GS title in singles. She's old for a tennis pro + her serve sucks.
Anyone against her regardless win or lose run a risk of getting knee injury lol
Halep is .... i rather not say it
Is Hsieh single now as I don't see her boyfriend/husband anymore with her in tournaments?
She dating Kei Nishikori.
The quaint daisy scilly report because stove hisologically dance anenst a hanging show. flaky, frantic ladybug
The protective eggnog frustratingly serve because lead symptomatically agree barring a super kilometer. general gentle, rude bladder
Bravo 👏 👏 👏 👏
