  • A hotel review and walk-through of Les Suites in Ottawa. I had booked a single room suite and found myself upgraded into a large 2-room suite. I stayed for 2 nights in August.
Recorded in 4K at 60 FPS with a DJI Pocket 2.

When I was on my grade 8 trip to Ottawa we stayed at Les Suites. When I moved to Ottawa after university one of my first stops was to see if it was still there. Good times

Love your mini reviews!! I'm still laughing about your hotel room, pool, closets, bathroom water pressure etc. You are so original and funny without even trying to be. Your speech and mannerisms are one of a kind. That's why we all love you so much.

That is a great description of Johnny. Reminds us we are all 'human' and Canadian. Sorry...

There was a Tim Hortons down the street to the left too. So much fun in Ottawa. So much to do. Loved the Haunted Jail and Byward Market

It definitely does look like an apartment building

Just another quick comment. I grew up in Ottawa and if you ever get back here again make a point to go over to the Quebec side. So many beautiful places to see like Camp Fortune, Pink's Lake, and the NCC Gatineau trails.

I Hope the Motel watches your video and picks up on the 'headboard 'swipe test'. You have to admit that it is a huge suite and those beds look very comfortable. Having a view looking towards the Ottawa River is nice and your proximity to the Byward Market is perfect for getting back here quickly. The Market is THE nightlife location near the Hill.

When I visited Ottawa back in May 2015, I stayed at Days Inn Hotel near Hunt Club & Riverside / near Ottawa Airport (YOW), & it's a very good hotel that i'm seeing!

WOW looks just like a traditional 1980's apartment for people staying long term for work . I always freak out wondering if the room has been properly cleaned or not . Like the white bed sheets so you know fresh . Mark (Toronto) 🤪👍

Agree with what you said it looks more like an apartment complex that was turned into a hotel . 200$ per night for the size of the room is not bad at all

For 1 person, a 2 bedroom suite with 3 double beds and a sofa bed is overkill; I assume the upgrade is free. Moreover, on short travel stays, I usually don't need a full-size kitchen; I prefer to eat out and sample the local cuisine. But the balcony has a nice view.

The Hotel is not to bad and I don't mind the view but what you said about McDonalds, I don't think I would stay there. Just one thing, why a dryer but no washing machine? Great review!👍

Maybe the it was an apartment complex at one time and they converted it to a hotel.

My stayed at Toronto and Ottawa Marriott Hotels and I am sick and tired of COVID excuses for almost nonexistent service. I will give these hotels 1 star ⭐️. Besides non- cleaning the rooms, no water, slippers, room service closing at 9 to 10 pm.

By the looks of it the cleaner needs to learn how to clean lol. The dust on the bed headboards and skirting boards (especially in the cupboards) is disgusting... As a cleaner / housekeeper myself that would really annoy me. My OCD would kick in and I would of have to buy a duster and dust everywhere lol 😆 And no comment on the 🧻🤐

Jonny, you should do a car rental and return at Toronto Pearson Airport as well as terrible COVID excuses at the airport and Via Rail boarding line fiasco and COVID-19 hypocrisy. I am sure you’re CZcams subscriber would save themselves much griefs if they’re not armed with knowledge!

I had zero issues taking the Via to Ottawa and have yet to encounter much issues flying other than a longer than usual lineup at US customs.
