I'm so pleased to see this upload, Kevin! I have sat out many ingredients on my counters to get started on cookie baking soon. I like to listen to you playing in the background either on my phone or on my tv, while doing my school work. I'm currently working on finishing my graduate school assignments due tonight at 1159p which will also end the current semester, thankfully. A very busy week and time of overwhelm in my life. It seems to be cooking channels created by professional musicians unsurprisingly have the the most pleasing background music to enhance the video and the recipes. At least this is the case with yours and another channel I watch. It adds a soothing quality to the video.

My mother made rosette cookies and I had her rosette iron but gave it away years ago. I am so glad that I saw you make them because for the life of me I have never been able to remember how the cookie came off the iron. I was thinking she dipped the entire rosette shape in the batter and now I see that she did not. Thanks ever so much. I am 76 years old.

Kevin, growing up during the doo wop years I can recall the days of home made cookies, divinity and having a taffy pull! Those were indeed good times. I will definitely be trying the coffee spice recipe.😋 I love ginger snaps and chocolate with mint. I've yet to try the rosettes, and Grand Marnier cookies. All look wonderful and give me lots of inspiration to share more cookies this Christmas. Thank you!

I made the coffee spice ones for my cookie exchange this evening and although they look a little less "exciting" than your typical Christmas cookie, they have dynamic flavor and don't require "decoration"! It's an excellent recipe!

Unlike other cooking shows, the presenters don't give the exact measurements of the recipe and when I try it, it doesn't turn out the way its supposed to be. Hello Kevin, what a lovely setting for Christmas cookie baking. My husband and I watch your videos together and love the ease of your recipes but more so, the elegance with which you serve them. We have purchased so many of the items you use and particularly love the wooden tray and the pair of mixing/serving forks. We ordered and received in two days the two wonderful gift sets from Tierra Farms. What a great resource for organic supplies. We will be baking in the next few days and as we do so, will be thinking of you as we try some of your recipes and your Darjeeling tea. Thank you for your calm, inspirational and elegant videos. ❤

You are joy to watch . I would have a cookie baking marathon when my kids were little and with my twin sister and it was so much fun . We still bake but not as much as when the kids were little and we had lots of gifts to give to teachers and colleagues and family and friends .

Does it get any more Christmassy than this? Beautifully decorated Christmas tree on one side, roaring fire in the fireplace on the other, five kinds of Christmas cookies to munch on at the lovely tea table in the middle. All ready for Santa to sit and enjoy on Christmas Eve! All of these cookies look delicious, but I think I will make the rosettes for sure, as they remind me of when my mom used to make for the Christmas tea(they called it The Tinsel Tea) at our church. My dad always got into these before she brought to church, and enjoyed with his coffee. She had to make extra because of this. They do look quite festive and irresistable with that dusting of powdered sugar. Not everyone will make these, so people are happy if you bring to them at Christmas. They look pretty on a plate too. Yes. The first time I had the thin mint Girl Scout cookies was probably in the early 1960s. My parents loved them. We got them every year.

My grandmother drizzled a little warm honey inside her rosettes. She made a filling of finely grated milk chocolate and ground toasted almonds and sprinkled the mixture on top of the honey. The combination of flavors is delicious. I still make them this way.

Update 12/14: I baked the coffee spice recipe and thought, hmmm a little plain for my evening cookie exchange. So I had one with my coffee this morning... and they are EXCELLENT! No added powdered sugar, no extra decoration needed. One thing I did change - I was in a hurry and couldn't go back into the video for the recipe. Couldn't remember if you used baking powder or soda. So I took the salt out and added 1 tsp of each baking powder and soda. Also chilled the dough overnight (due to lack of time to bake yesterday). They turned out so light and fluffy! Must be careful not to overbake at 400. I watched carefully and they turned out so delicious! I will be proud to share them tonight! Thank you and God bless your Christmas season, Kevin!

These all look great. I want to make them all. I have never seen a coffee slice or those rosettes. I'm fascinated by those. I love that you freeze the dough and only make a few. I've gotten into that habit. What a beautiful spread at the end. I was just pretending i was sipping tea and sampling. How fun. Thank you. And congrats on 70k.
