Welcome to Indian Sign Language 201,
I am thrilled to announce that I am collaborating with Sign Medium (a social enterprise) to spread the message of accessibility far and wide.
Sign Medium is a social enterprise that hires deaf employees and creates educational content and courses for deaf learners.
One of the things we are working on together is “Indian Sign Language 201”.
Where Akash, a deaf teacher, who has more than 5 years of experience of teaching ISL teaches sentences structure in ISL and shows how we can hold basic conversations.

Hi pragya i found this really helpful. I am not born dum and deaf but i am partially hearing impaired, that means i can hear with hearig aids machine, and when i remove them iam partially deaf.. so simply i can talk when i have hearing aids and i can't hear anything whenever i remove them.
Im learning sign language incase i might lose my hearing completely in future. so that my family and friends can comunicate easiy. (I can talk though but i don't know why my mind insisted to learn sign language but im learning it whole heartedly)
I have few questions for you how do you know your sign name? Is it compulsory to have a sign name when talking to other deaf peaple? How can i learn my sign name? By the way my name is tejaswi.
