- The evil Kaos has blown up Cloud Cracker Prison (which if you ask me is clearly terrorism) resulting in all of the bad guys escaping and somehow still being alive after the explosion. But the shattered fragments of the prison have transformed into traps that can be used to capture bad guys and turn them good. That one special trap even works on Kaos himself.

These are actually some darn amazing graphics for the Wii, though you can tell it's being pushed to it's limits. Genuinely surprised how long these games stayed on this console.
This the same console that made galaxy 1 and 2, this is shameful

Well it was. Heck almost all of the Skylanders games were on Nintendo Wii. SuperChargers and Imaginators however weren't. The spinoff game SuperChargers Racing is (and will most likely forever be) the last Skylanders game for Wii. That doesn't mean there won't be anymore Wii games. Just Dance 2019 just got announced for Wii. I'm surprised it's still for Wii.
Travis the Dragon I miss skylanders tbh, especially spyro’s adventure and giants, they were the best ones and then Swap force ruined it

My deepest apologies for abysmal frame rate. This is unfortunately how the Wii version runs. But at least we know it runs in 60fps.
They probably shoulda quit when they saw the reception to the Wii version

In fact Swap Force was so bad on the Wii I didn't bother with getting Trap Team there instead I got it on the Wii U

Trap Team Wii was the first Skylanders game that got me into the series.
Then I ended up getting all the games (including Trap Team) on Xbox 360. Too bad I don’t own Spyro’s Adventure as it’s the only game I’m missing, but at least I got Giants.

I love all the little references in these games. My personal favourite was finding out how Digs from SSA went blind in Swap Force.

I was originally planning on getting this for Christmas 2014 until my dad told me to get the Wii U version as he secretly got us the Wii U for Christmas, so I narrowly avoided this awful version 😅
Cool thing is with the wii one you get the wii u digital code so you could of got the wii and wii u version
Graphics on Trap Team's Wii version are better than Swap Force but yeah. Still felt pushed because of the console's limitations

Skylanders Trap Team in 60fps looks so weird.
Hmmm. I don't know why, but this has worse graphics the one I had on the Wii. I'm not sure why, but the sprites looked a bit better then I remembered. I think. I'll have to look back at it.
Yeah I just got trap team for the wii. Pretty sure the graphics are kinda better than this, but it’s still bad. Giants has good FPS but this game doesn’t. At least I can play the game

I think its bc its hard to record on the wii since the graphics are much worse than when i played it on the wii for sure the video quality must have been lowered in order for it to record without crashing or heating up too much

That is a possibility. I might have to go back and look at the fame one day because it has been years since I last played it and I'm so much more used to the higher graphics since they moved away from the Wii and I got Imaginators and Superchargers on the PS4. So it did feel weird and understandable going from playing these games only on the Wii for the first 4 games and then get completely different visuals for the last two games when I first experienced them.
The only Skylanders games that should have been allowed on the Wii are the first 2 games (Spyro's Adventure and Giants)

1. At least the first 2 were released back when the Wii was more relevant
2. Spyro's Adventure would have been released the same year as The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword which itself is a Wii game
3. The Xbox One and Ps4 would have been new at the time Swap Force and This game were released
In Xbox one I found torque in Halo 5 Guardians you want to believe the Easter egg it came from reference Freedom planet when torque was saying go look multiplayer maps

different engine, ssa, giants and trap team ran on the same engine on Wii. Don't know why they used a different engine for swap force, it might be because vicarious visions developed that game
