Hi everyone. In this requested video, I share part 1 of my current swatch set-up.

I swatch everything on a single page if at all possible, on good cardstock, and pop it in the case the product lives in. I like to have it right at hand in whatever set I grab, and often take it out and use it to choose colors directly over my page. I'm a stickler for everything being in as perfect as possible color family order, light to dark. For me, my swatch sheets are a must have for my coloring process.
I had my swatches in separate folders but am thinking your way might be better so ty..đ„°

@@ColouringwithK I saw another option yesterday. It's a typical ringed binder, only the rings don't open. It uses sheet protectors designed to come in and out at will, kind of like the way ring binding works, with the keyhole shaped holes in the page. You can store them all in one book but pull out the one you want when you need it, then pop it right back in... or move them around if you decide to reorganize or add to a section. If the sheet protector eventually wore out you can simply put your pages in a new one with no damage to the swatches themselves. Pretty neat, not sure where you buy one, I think the colorist who was using it was from the UK.
@@be_a_bright_sparkle3687 It's really personal preference but I color in bed so all my stuff is in it's own portable case. I grab a book, grab a case of pencils, and settle in. If I want gel pens they are all in a single case with a swatch sheet. If I want acrylic pens they are the same way. Ditto for watercolor pans. I never have to search around.

Hi Kay, Thank you for sharing your swatch books/organisation - I have tried various ways to swatch my pencils etc, but each time it doesn't quite work for me. I am trying a folder with heavy duty plastic sheets - this way I can use different grades of paper (for watercolour pencils/watercolour paints) and also black paper for the glitter paints etc - so far I am finding this is working for me.
