  • DR Horton is in the process of opening 12 new neighborhoods in the Charleston area. Is this too many? What are your thoughts?

    Almost got DR Horton Express home in Ladson during Covid good rates and neighborhood going to use VA loan it worked but craftsmanship was too shotty and got home at Crowfield

    Thanks, Bill. You sound excited about this prospect of varying cost ranges w/o looking cookie cutter elevations. Too many folks are being priced out.

      Yes many are being priced out, however I have clients looking for new construction and the only thing DR HORTON is offering is well below their budget AND too plain. Limiting their options.

    The DR Horton homes in Pine Forest Country Club are less that 10 years old and the majority already need new roofs. I’ve seen many neighborhoods discussing the quality of this builder.

      Maybe less SF, higher quality. Maybe choices on roof material.

    Double porches absolutely > Plain front house
