  • Today we bring something for tabletop RPG and board game fans! 🏰🐉 We printed it with our MK4 with MMU3 (shipping to customers). The model is the Fates End-Dice Tower by designer Kombolt, and we printed it from Prusament PLA Marble Grey, Mystic Brown, and Pineapple Yellow. This model will make the dice roll pretty dramatic! 🎲✨

MMU3 in action! Wonder if it's better than 5T XL?

How did the wipe tower become that shape? Mine are always flat blocks

The wipe tower gets this shape when there are no colors changes, or not many, at the beginning of the model and it keeps without changing it for part of the model. This shape it is intended to avoid the falling of the wipe tower when it is thin.

@@Prusa3D That sounds like a great optimization!

Better how. The XL produces stunning multi-colour prints; I’ve made many. The MMU is similar to Bambi with AMS. If anything, the XL is better for multi colour prints - much shorter print times and waaay less. Waste produced.
