I’m from Manchester and lived around the Mahurangi peninsula for 4 years. I miss driving off my kayak. I live in Hawkes Bay nowadays and do a bit of surf casting but miss my diving days.

New Zealand and Australia really know how to preserve there fish stocks. So beautiful to see all the life in the ocean.

Not really, it’s better than a lot of places but most would agree it’s poorly managed and somewhat corrupt as with everything these days. Some species are fine and some others are on a huge decline
