Yes, you can change his voice. There's 10 different voices. He now recognizes pets and does home monitoring. If you're not home, you can't remember if you turned off the stove, he can check that. Also can navigate the house to check on your pets. I've used it too see if they had food in their bowls. They add new things to it all the time. It's fun!
Can astro recognize your cat? If you are, for example, out of the house somewhere, is it possible to tell astro to find your cat and start a drop in call?
@@dreamleaf6784 I have some seriously privacy concerns with this thing.... Not really from Amazon, but you know this thing will a prime target for hackers and perverts. And you can bet the government will gain some kind of access to it if wanted. Notice I didn't say warranted... :-/
@@dreamleaf6784 Yeah, it's useless. If it could walk my dog, I might be on board. If you have netflix, there is a series called Love, death and robots. In one episode called automated customer service, a lady has a robot in her house that goes apeshit. It is hilarious and a must see!

It doesn't go on stairs, and it also knows not to go down. It is like the Roomba so if it gets to the staircase, it won't fall down.

Yes, if now has pet recognition. I'll post some videos of it.
I have questions: How does Astro recognize Rooms?
It moves around the house and creates a map. You then label the rooms. Basically the same as you do with a robot vacuum like Roomba.
