    Alot of people look at high mileage cars because of the price difference between clowns wanting 10k+ for the same car with "lower" mileage
    You are basically answering the age old question of wether a high mile car (well maintained that is)
    Can handle boost just as well as a brand new car
    The answer is YESSSSSAAAAA

    Wasn't 2011 the first year coyote and their bottom end was not forged I'm looking to buy a coyote mustang but in early Coyote mustang I thought maybe the Gen 2s 12/13 would be a better deal what's your thoughts on that

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering Před 4 lety

      11-14 are basically the same engine. Good crank and so so rods/pistons. 15-17 which is Gen 2 have better heads and internal engine parts and will support more power. So to answer your question 12/13 not really better than 11/12 they are all Gen 1 engines with a couple small differences but nothing big on a power supporting standpoint.

      It is double adjustable, so works one way to the floor then another at half pedal. Because you dont go all the way down its fine on normal speed shifting. Just a couple quick questions. Have you had any trans issues with the launch max? Did you need to adjust the tune at all to use it? My only concern is the car going into limp mode or something, if I sit on the brake too long waiting for someone else to stage. The build is great, I have a similar set up on mine. Thanks

    • @BrenspeedEngineering
      @BrenspeedEngineering Před 5 lety

      StreetRace609 no trans issues with a launch max. Only tune change really would be if your particular car gets some sort of torque error wrench light standing on the brake or dead hooking. That can be tuned out, but most never get that. Don’t hold the launch Max for a really long time all transmissions can heat up from a trans brake. They are designed to be engaged, go wide open, and then released. That will produces less heat than just standing on it for say 10 seconds.
