Due to the ongoing pandemic situation in my country I decided to produce and direct an up close and personal music video myself, showcasing a day in my life walking and biking through the empty streets of my hometown Amsterdam, a city in lockdown. It also features a little cameo of my latest art piece that is currently exhibited at the Moco Museum, connecting my work as a musician with my work as a (digital) art creator. With Face To Face I wanted to kick off 2022 with a soulful tune to kill the winter blues. When I heard Watts' track "Feel" with Khalid last year I immediately put him at the top of my vocalist wishlist so I am very happy things came together so quickly. Also very excited to have another co-write in the bag with the supremely talented Elderbook with whom I previously collaborated for my single "Bad" ft. Zak Abel. Don Diablo is one of the best producers that I've ever known. Back in 2015, when he released chemicals with Tiësto, it was so perfectly done that i fell in love with the track. In my opinion, he is so good that I think he is totally better than all the record producers in the world, yeah I'm not even a bit skeptical about it. Good Grief remix is one of my favorite songs, when i was a kid, i used to think it's the best song of the world. If it wasn't for Don, i would never have had the pleasure to get interested in music and lately i've been getting interested in music production too, i really hope i get better in no time. Thank you man for being such an inspiration to me, I hope I can someday be like you, a great king of edm. And also thanks for making my 2021 better by dropping your new album Forever, it is such a banger, i loved all the songs from it. Problems, Brave, Bad & Thousand Faces are my favourites from the album
