Hi Henry, I just purchased this blender. Today made my first smoothie and am impressed with the results. I put in a celery stalk along with banana, ice, protein powders, kale and spinach. It blended up nicely with no effort. This replaces my kitchen aid which just died. I’m hoping this will last many years. Thank you as always for your videos. Merry Christmas. I had this brand before and burnt up the motor 3 times while under warranty. I moved on, to Vitamix. This model looks improved. How does the build quality compare to Vitamix? Love your videos.
Henry, for a limited time, Breville is offering the Vac Q for free when you purchase and receive the Super Q blender. Inside the box is a coupon that can be used to order the vacuum. However, I didn’t see a code on the coupon that the online registration was asking for. So when I called Breville Customer Support line to register the Super Q, I told them about the code issue, and they registered my Super Q and immediately put in the order for the Vac Q for me-it was very painless! Highest marks to Breville for their top quality products AND their incredible Customer Support team. Great down-to-earth review!!

Sashine B. - I received my new Breville Super Q yesterday, which replaced a Breville Boss. I can definitely notice a decrease in sound levels.

Now it’s almost a year you made this video , can you make video comparing vitamix a3500 or venture 1200 vs Breville super q? Or please share your opinion which one is better buck in long run!
Thanks for your request. I do not currently have plans to compare these products. Hardly anyone has requested it and it takes a lot of resources to do videos. It's a lot of work for a video that may not capture enough interested people. There's no "this one is better than that one". It's really about the needs of the user.

Hi Henry, big fan of your channel. Have asked you a few questions about Blendtec Pro 800 previously before stumbling upon the Super Q, would you be able to tell me please which is better between the two when I am simply after the best blender for home use, in regard to ease of cleaning, performance, reliability, build quality, design .etc, which most of the time will be making smoothie and nut butters, and price is less relevant. FYI I am from New Zealand where the Super Q has 2400W power with Vac Q included in the bundle, and is on sale at the moment for around USD $520 whereas Blendtec Pro 800 stays USD$1400. Your personal opinion on this will be fine. As it is no small investment anyway and I am planning on a change for a healthier life style. Thanks.
The main reason for getting the Blendtec is if you want the enclosure. If quiet blending is important then get it. The Super Q just came out so it's not something I can tell you if it's better or not.

How would you compare the Breville Super Q with vac pump vs the Dynapro? Blend and built quality? Also what do you think about using these VAC blenders for juicing in combination with a Nut milk bag for removing pulp, compared to a cold press juicer or slow juicer? I was told that because the air removal the high speed chopping no longer kills the nutrients during blending. Any information helps. Thank you!
The Breville blender is far better in build quality. I'm not a big supporter of vacuum blending. It's very limited on it's uses and there's no comparison to using an actual stand-alone juicer.

I haven't created a hot soup in it yet, but the model (Breville Boss) it replaced made hot soup.
Lol might be a nine month late reply, but it sure does. I just as I write this finished a bowl of tomato soup. Made on the Sage super q. Sage is the same as breville, think it depends on country not sure. Made it with 0.5 liters of veggie stock, a red onion some garlic and basil, 1 red bell pepper and ofc around 6 big tomatoes, all added in cold/room temp, ran the soup program, I was not happy by the heat on one single run and gave it one more, then we talked 95 degrees (Celsius).
Can you make the Henry help aviate smoothie and no in the vitamix?

Both of those smoothies looked great. I can't wait to give them a try. Are the buttons raised on the control panel, or is it a flat touch screen?Also, are the blades as sharp as they look?It seems like a cool machine.
Thanks for watching! 👨🏾🍳🙏🏾😊. The buttons are slightly raised. They are membrane style buttons. The blades are thick like Vitamix blades so they aren't as violent as they may appear.

I am starting viewing a few of your videos, I was hoping you mention it is a glass bow or stastic like this one and i vieved coumple of Vitamix video and don't recall mention glass or plstic, just wondering it's cost few hundress dollars and I would not buy it if if came with plastic bow.

BTW my jug got cloudy over time, any tips on removing that or is that normal with all blenders?
Ah, I wish you could order it through me. Right now only Vitamix serves the UK using my links. Your container will only get cloudy if you're using it to grind dry ingredients. That can't be reversed. It's only cosmetic and won't affect performance.
Do you think the single serve cup and blades would fit the Boss? I don't think they designed and built the whole thing from scratch.
The blending cup and container for the Super Q is not compatible with the Boss.

All sounds great with this machine, but how well does it do against other types of recipes: nut butters, ice creams, hot soups, adding ingredients during a blend, white plate test. etc? For the price, it should also be able to do such things; if it can't then that vac pump should be included in the box. Just my opinion. How is the warranty on the super Q?
I hear ya! That's quite a tall order of recipe tests. There will be future videos. 10 year warranty mentioned at the end of the video. 👨🏾🍳🙏🏾😊

And I know it's a lot to test out on a machine, but it's a premium piece of hardware that I would want to know what it can do besides drinks. I hope it does better than the BOSS at frozen recipes since it made out slush like. I just made ice cream just a bit ago... delish!

There are no blenders that I recommend in that price range. Overall they will be the same in quality across the board.

@@BlendingWithHenry and I dont really care about the noise and cleaning function, I just only care about 1. how much smoother the texture will be and 2. how much nutrients are in vegetables and fruits will be kept in the juice or smoothie!!

I can assure you I was never inspired by anyone else's recipe. I always create my own recipes with names I make up. I've never even heard of Dr. Gregor.

The Vac Q vacuum pump is handy for smoothies and soups, or any recipes that are highly acidic that may cause foaming due to air. Recipes that require the use of the Tamper (frozen desserts, nut butters) won't work with the Vac Q pump. If you decide to order please use the link posted that you found earlier. Thanks so much!

The mill cup is not available in the U.S.

Pet peeve : Opening a protein powder container and finding it half empty!
My Breville Super Q BBL920 went on Overload Protection, and refuses to RESET.
My Breville Boss has a loose metal coupling, well whatever that controls the metal coupling while spinning is loose so now Breville wants 200$ to repair or exchange. It feels like a VERY easy fix to just tighten whatever needs to be tightened back up so instead of doing that they offer a 25% discount off one of their overpriced blenders from their website. Guess I"m switching over to Vitamix. Loved the Boss though, it lasted 8 years and still works sort of just not as strong thanks to a loose coupling. The Super Q looks exactly like their discontinued Boss blender and so does the base. Not sure why they can't fix or replace the base for free.
Cord wrap does not work. Would be helpful to know how it's supposed to work since it's not in the manual nor in your video. Otherwise thanks for the overview.
Did it blend better or worse than the vitamix?
The recipe I created "Henry Healthy V12 Smoothie" blended equally in both brands. That recipe has multiple root vegetables that are hard to break down.

I did answer it.
good thing he added the ice last. many people make the mistake of adding the ice first. doing so will cause the blade to break faster.
I put ice first instead of killing the fiber and making it like a smoothie from a juicer I'd rather the steel blade to fight with the ice first and I get more nutritions and vitamins.
@@ike7539 You won't get more nutrition and vitamins by adding ice first... they're still going to be in the jar! ;)
Would have been more interested in you going over the features of the blender rather than seeing your favourite recipes.
I'm truly confused by you saying this because I covered all the features of this machine. Much more than you'd find on any other CZcams video. People want to see how it operates so since it is a blender it makes sense to show my recipes blending in it. What else were you looking for?
