The protagonist killed the man who had been his childhood friend. He was able to walk right up because he was in the same army. Then other people, in his same army, killed him.
The protagonist must have had some loyalty because they were from the same place. The general had saved his life.

It s an amazing piece of music video and a song dedicated for humanity. Dimash certainly doesn’t need to do that at this point of his young career but I guess he feels he have to. It’s his personality. He cares.
The core of the story links the three characters together. In the beginning there were friendship born from saving one’s life but jealousy torn them apart. The girl chose the shorter boy who later turned to Dimash, they both have a little girl together. Ironically the boy who saved Dimash (the Piper) also led the slaughter in the war, indirectly caused the lost of his daughter and later was killed by Dimash (soldier) whom also died shortly afterwards. Dimash’s wife was survived by her good neighbours, gave birth to a baby who later led the pilgrims from all different background and religions to the light.
In terms of song, it has many many genres contrasting each other beautifully. Dimash also sings subharmonic (the om) and heavy metal at the end for the first time. So there two more techniques to add in his repertoire.
Yeah, I meant to mention the different singing techniques used. The video threw me for a loop and I lost my train of thought. LOL

The name "Piper" has two similar meanings: The first is a reference to the legend of the "Piper of Hamelin" who had the task of hypnotizing the city's rats and drowning them in the sea. But the flutist, unpaid, hypnotized the entire population of the city and took them to their death! It is, therefore, a seductive message that leads to death! The other meaning tells the true story of a World War II battle where insane Canadian soldier Bill Millin, called "Mad Pipper", played bagpipes at the front, dressed in a "kilt", while his comrades were killed. ! The sound of the harmonica served to muffle the shots and motivate the companions and became a symbol of the "madness of war"!
Love you too man, that was one heck of a video, once again Dimash shocks us with new things, and Ideas. This was so far beyond just a music video, this is the strongest anti war protest song I have ever heard. Even through the '60's. This should strike deep into anyone that watches this.

👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
Story: (Requiem means: Funeral, Funeral Mass, Funeral Service)
The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow pointer of a sundial, which was also used as a maritime compass before antiquity.
One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one.
The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.

My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?

Yeah, sadly, I tried 4 different ways before I blurred it, but all were blocked. I TOTALLY agree that it's just NOT the same.
It's easier to put up with the blurring or blocking on shorter videos. With this video, I've taken to using 2 tablets, watching the reaction on one tablet and the original (synched) video from Dimash's channel on the other tablet. Too, this way I know my watching a reactor is not taking a view away from his channel.
Sorry did ot continue watching. I know pple try to endure videos they want to review can get blocked. Hence the still pic. I can not know what u are referring to, if I can not see the video. There srecways go pur a sea thru film or pattern over it, that way both u and I can see it.
