Seth was not born until after the death of Abel. Seth is the third child. It wasn't until after Seth that daughters were born
Where did you read that from? please chapter and verse I want to read it too. Remember Eva was a great great great great great grandmother or so when she gave birth to Seth (Genesis 4:17-25) Probably, Seth was the first boy she had after Cain k*lled Abel. It doesn't mean that she didn't have any girls in between.

Note it says child to replace Abel and not a Son to replace Abel. There is no mention of daughters before Seth, only after, why should we assume there were many daughters in between if there is no mention, for me it would make more sense that there were humans already and Adam and Eve were Yahweh first humans and there rest were created by other gods.
Adam and Eve having only daughters before Seth means that Enoch, Irad, Mehujael, Mathushael and Lamech married also daughters of Adam and Eve or daughters of Cain (i don't know what´s worst).

I was having this convo with someone over the weekend. I find it interesting that Christian folks trying to explain this never make any actual sense. Sin was sin. Incest was incest. God didnt simply allow it and then decided "Whoa whoa whoa, no more of that." What makes the most sense is that there were already other people that God created outside of Eden. God simply chose Adam to be the representative of Man. There's no reason to believe God would be ok with incest until He wasn't.
So, according to you, Abraham and Sara were not siblings like the Bible states, having different mothers but the same father? Do you realise that some practices don't start out perceived as wrong but later become so? Also, are you aware that some words simply don't exist in languages, but are introduced later on, e.g Internet. It was not part of the 1600 vocabulary, now it is.

Have you read the Bible ? It clearly states that Cain and Abel were the first two. Also, the laws of Moses didn’t exist yet , making it ok to marry within the family. Genetically speaking, the human body at that time would have been so genetically pure that mutations weren’t an issue yet. The mosaic laws were over a thousand possibly two thousand years later.

But do you remember God had to mark Cain that he will not be killed, have you ever have a thoughts that who was going to kill him in that City? The City had people already, thats why God had to mark him because if someone kill Cain he will be punished seven times, who was the peoples.
If we read the Genesis account with an open mind we see there were actually TWO accounts of God creating Humanity. "Let us make Man in our image" in Genesis chapter One, gives us the clue. The creation of Adam and Eve in chapter Two was a separate event altogether. The Garden of Eden was like God's "laboratory" where He would use Adam and Eve to determine the fate of the human race . . . and even more importantly . . . to establish a bloodline for the eventual birth of Jesus Christ. Was it a bit unfair of God to condemn Mankind for the sin of Eve, and then Adam? No. It was completely in keeping with His character, given the millions of people He slaughtered in the Old Testament.
It is my belief that there were already plenty of people around by the time God created Adam in the unique "from the dirt of the ground" way to bind forever the bloodline of Jesus to the earth.
Just think about how it would have been for the poor woman whom Cain married! She'd be marrying the first murderer, her own relative, in fact; if she was a close relative.
But then we also need to consider the Mark of Cain story line, in which if anyone finding Cain would be likely to kill him . . because he would have been a stranger to them, not having grown up in the Land of Nod. So God gave him a special mark to preserve his life, even though he'd committed that heinous crime. He was still God's "grandson" if you wanna look at it that way. I think it far more likely that Cain's wife probably didn't know much about him at all, him being a stranger and a wanderer and all.
Also, note how it wasn't until Cain had been gone from his parental home for a few generations before people began calling upon the Name of the Lord. Could it be that it took Cain that long to influence the rest of humanity in the regions where he wandered? Cain wasn't a heathen; he was still a God-fearing man, still smarting for the rest of his days from God's punishment.
In the wash-up, we'll never know for sure. But one thing I ask of anyone reading this . . please allow for an alternative interpretation of the six days of creation. The way I see people, especially on CZcams, interpreting the Scriptures to suit their beliefs, it shouldn't be too hard to find a translation in which "day" can mean "epoch" or whatever. That would make far more sense than trying to squeeze the accepted 14 billion years of the universe's existence into six literal days and not appear like the raving lunatics we see these days doing just that! We don't have to believe in evolution in the slightest to accept the age of the universe. The two should be completely separate. The age of the universe has nothing at all to do with evolution. Unfortunately scholars and Christians have lumped them together. It's just more convenient to condemn scientists for believing in both concepts if they're linked.

This one speaks to me more - I just see the Character of God Almighty (Abba Father) more in here than any other logical explanation - it makes more sense. He still gave Cain the mark like how He still covered Adam and Eve with clothes after sinning - that is so much like Him. When you said "to establish a bloodline for the eventual birth of Jesus Christ" - that sounds so much more like Him too. All throughout the OT, we just see this unraveling - the enemy tried so hard to contaminate or hinder this bloodline but well, Jesus was born! The love of the Father prevailed!

The bible does not talk about it . The Bible say not to trust in yourself but. in God . Our faith should be based on our relationship with the Holy Spirit of God. If God gives us understanding we thank God. If God want us to trust in him even though we do not understand everything then that is what we shall do.
I havent been able to understand for years why people find this so confusing when it is so clearly understood if you just read. The bible provides all the information you need. Most who ask these questions dont even bother to read the bible.
Interesting to note, this mother put in the Nile river a basket containing Moses, trusting God that the crocodiles would not attempt to eat as we know, anything thrown or enters the Nile waters would immediately be considered potential food and gone after. The strategy of the safer place is out in the open, his mother was clever and had a strong belief in God. 3 years is not a long time to teach a child, yet she managed it. I wonder if there was some guilt that her son survived and her neighbours may have lost theirs, despite the midwives not killing the male child. The soldiers may have been sent in to kill the babies. The Pharoh would have kept spies who told him what was really going on in the slave quarters of the Hebrews, perhaps a census or checking each household for male babies. This would be the ways to keep the male population down. It must have been a terrible time to hear them coming and your son being taken away to be thrown to the crocodiles. These stories show that helpmeet to a man has many layers of meaning, working together to accomplish something, give her opinion on matters concerning the household or relationship with husband, but also to rebuke him if she sees him thinking or doing something wrong, in a sense a prod to his conscience, that God’s Standards are not to be ignored. It is a sobering message to Women and how we interact with men.

Easy solution, Adam and Eve were the tribal founders and therefore the first people from a tribal point of view. Other people were around at the time but were not relevant to the biblical narrative so were not mentioned. Cain married one of them.

The narrative in the video regarding this question makes total sense and is how the describes the answer regarding Able finding a wife. At that time period, the genge pool was still pure enough so that offspring wouldn't get birth defects as is the case in the present. It is very possible that the first few generations married their brother/sister, first cousins or other close relatives. This is what is supported by Biblical text both old and New Testaments in the gospels when Jesus was asked about marriage and divorce pointing back to Adam and Eve and why men leave their families and cleve to wife and establish their own families.
Here are some interesting points:
1) Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters that are not listed in the geological records because people in ancient history only listed genealogies to tell a story of significance, not to account for every person ever born. In this case the reason why Seth was mention is because that's when people started to turn towards GOD. There may have been other sons and daughters born to Adam and Eve between Able and Seth. Genealogies are not a complete list, but a start to understand past history.
2) The definition of Eve means mother of all living.
3) The longevity of poeples live could easy get many different generations living at the same time, as when Naoh was around, Adam and Eve were still living, and the same thing happened after the flood with DNA lineage being mapped from Noah's three son to the present, as recorded in Gen 10, known as the Table of nations to present.

Listening to the Book of Adam & Eve, it states that Cain and Abel were a part of a set of twins. Cain's twin was named Kalmana a girl, and Abel's twin was named Balbira, a girl. Cain was to marry Balbira, and Abel to marry Kalmana.

There was a genetic mutation that enabled speech in humans, "in the beginning was the word and the word was with God". The planting of grain that lead to land ownership of land and resulted in 'civilization' was rejected by God and he returned Cain to a pastoral nomadic lifestyle, where he most probably met other humans without the gene for speech and married a woman from among them. There is a genetic Adam traced by that genetic mutation that enabled speech carried on the Y chromosome, presumably all descendants of Adam carried that gene. This gave them a huge selective advantage.

You are implying an interpretation of scripture that is apparently not there.
The Bible makes it clear that it was after Seth that Adam and Eve had daughters. One can not ignore fact, but when faith does not add up to fact, then faith forces one to think of an alternative that can go hand in hand with fact or logic.
No wonder, as time goes by and people getting wiser, and with new revelations, the interpretation of scripture changes to align with reality.

I was thinkin of this dream i had where it was like how the story of a farmer not giving his best crops cause those who worked to grow them deserved them. But then i was like watching that Baywatch movie and there at the end when they was running down the shore after he got his gold metal returned he fell and it was how he rolled. The Bible says Cane & Abel were born, grew up to be a farmer & a herdsman. It describes the murder. Then it says that Adam & Eve conceived Seth in the image of Adam.
So, it implies that Cane & Abel were not born in the image of Adam, but perhaps brutish, like cavemen. And, it means that Seth being born in the image of Adam because God was unhappy that Cane killed Abel, so He made sure Seth was not cursed with brutishness. But do the math of the years of Adam's age when Cane & Abel were born & when Seth was born. It doesn't matter how old Cane & Abel were when Cane killed Abel. More children were born to Adam & Eve.
