The European Tour’s Race to Dubai returns to Renaissance Club this week for the second Rolex Series event of the year - the abrdn Scottish Open. A star studded field are set to compete this week, but who will be crowned champion? World number one John Rahm is in the form of his life after capturing his first major at Torrey Pines last month. The two-time Irish Open winner grew up on the north coast of Spain so will be used to the coastal weather and winds that may come this week. Five-time European Tour winner Tommy Fleetwood showed enough in his T17th finish in Ireland last week to indicate his form is on the up. He lost to Aaron Rai in the play-off at Renaissance Club last year and will be aiming to go a step further as he looks to cement his place in the Ryder Cup team. Meanwhile, having won the World Golf Championships and finished inside the top 10 at two majors this year, Collin Morikawa will be hoping to bring his form to Scotland. Other notable contenders include Bernd Wiesberger, Richard Bland and Garrick Higgo.

The one thing we can all learn watching this is his tempo, slow back and wonderful acceleration through the ball and to his finish, note the mix or draws and fades just with minor set up changes and not a big powerhouse guy, 1.75 metres tall and 77 kilo's weight, just shows tempo what tempo can achieve, he's far from short in distance
Don't a lot of top players have fast tempos and fast takeaways?

Probably a bit harmful for his back when he gets older. You need a really fit condition to swing that fast through impact.

That slow backswing is beautiful
This is interesting. Because he recently revealed that he couldn't hit his irons well off the links turf and ended up switching to cavity back irons (7i through to wedge). You can tell during this session that he was not quite comfortable...
I have to do a project on my shooting gallery and the different angles of camera's and I rlly want this exact one cause its perfect with the close ups and the full shots and everything and I don''t have a range

I like that he only has a 115mph clubheadspeed, it really shows that his irongame is way better than everybody elses, but he need to take 1-2 clubs more in on every approach, compared to DJ, Rory, JT, Brooks
His mighty weapon on Sunday was putter, especially from the 15 footers and below.

I'm still not convinced..he doesn't hit it far(where the game is going) and his showing in Memphis looks like where his level is.
