    Use a good tuning box like the jb4 or TDI and you’ll see that it’s actually better then many stage 1 ECU remaps.

    @bigz702 Před 3 lety +2

    So a stage 1 remap only produces 312bhp from 300.. and 503 torque from 450?

  • @auttomotiveelectronicperfo2010

    Sorry guys but there are something real strange...
    Can you clarify to us, whp our bhp?
    It´s common into stage 1 tuning for this cars about 20% gains over standard power...

      All of these numbers are WHP. You're only looking at the peak HP to determine the gain but if you look at the 3000-4000rpm range the gains are there and more consistent all the way across the chart. If you convert their number to BHP they would easily be at the 20-25% mark. $400 for 20-25 real HP on a small displacement car is VERY noticeable!!

      @@bryanedwards7607 Yes it is, but generally at max power moment the best gains are achieved. Anymay...ecu good ecu tuning always gonna be better than a piggy back

    :P decalibrated that MDIOP much?

  • @mscappa
    @mscappa Před 3 lety

    What box was that? And why are both HP gains so low? Stock on this car is 306

    • @bryanedwards7607
      @bryanedwards7607 Před 3 lety +1

      306 is BHP. That is the HP before going through transmission essentially and not to the ground. The gains they show are real world HP at the ground. The man

      The box is DTE btw. It is entered on the Dyno Chart.

      @@bryanedwards7607 Thanks, are you sure it's not to the wheels? And the HP increase on his chart goes from 297 (stock/box) to 312 on his tune. Seems really low for a custom tune.

    • @bryanedwards7607
      @bryanedwards7607 Před 3 lety

      @@-Scraps- Yes it is at the wheels. That's why you're seeing the 297 on the stock run versus the 300 and something that it is factory. You're also looking at only the peak number but if you look through the rest of the power bands the gains are significantly higher and smoother across the entire power band not just the peak number.
