I recall being around $50 back in 2012, while taking a vacation from my dental job, took them off within a week because I couldn't work with them. But fast forward to 2020 I'm a licensed Cosmetologist, I do my own nails I quit my dental assistant job and doing nails fulltime in salon. Thank you so much for your videos, you are a huge inspiration to me, you remind me alot about myself, I dont work with acrylic only gel but implement these techniques to my work. Keep them coming!

Wow! When I see those prices!😱 in Serbia nail techs are working with Ibd and those brends, nothing from aliexpress and even though their price is not above 18dolars! And the avarage price for nails here is 12dollars! 😱 so here every girl every month can afford them ☺️ and nail techs are so precise! 💜

Darija Barjaktarevic: The best manicures I ever had were with the original IBD (hard gel) formula! I got them done by a wonderful lady for about two years. They never cracked or lifted EVER!! I never used tips; my own natural nails would grow to amazing 🤯 lengths. I would LOVE to find a nail tech in my area who still uses hard gel 😭

The most I've paid for myself was around $100-20 for clear, swarovski crystals, cat style nails. I enjoyed them alot but man were the sharp and flammable !!! I've been watching your videos for awhile and seeing how you explain the process of doing nails triggered a lil spark for me to venture out one day and learn how to do my own. I don’t even know. I don’t get my nails done much. I am way too particular with my cuticle area and kind of a perfectionist when it comes to them. Most salons I’ve been to also don’t have the ability to do nails like you. I can do the basic stuff myself. I need the beautifully designed, artistic nails done by the professionals. I just haven’t found anyone that doesn’t just rush me out but I’ve already commented that before. This set is GORGEOUS! I love when you mix neons/brights with nudes. It always looks so good. Nudes are boring to me and neons can some times be tiresome after too long.
Wow, I wish I had those freehand skills! I've been making my own press on's for about 2 years now, and now I'm venturing into the apres style of gel nails adhered with gel vs glue which is REALLY helpful in not causing any more damage to my natural nails.
I love this set!!! The most I've ever paid for nails was about $40 and then I decided the money I was gonna be using to get them done I could put towards supplies to do my own. That's awesome! I found some bejeweled hello kitties on Ebay and did a full blown hello kitty set which to date is one of my favorite sets I've ever done! I'm 45 so I don't know if I should be rocking hello kitty nails, but YOLO, right?!

Another helpful tip for shaky hands is to make sure you don’t drink caffeinated drinks beforehand and/or do the nail art on an empty stomach. I learned this the hard way when i became a lash tech LOL!
