මම ලංකාවෙ government bank එකක 18+ years experience තියෙන, Colombo campus BIT diploma & Banking Diploma academic qualifications විදියට තියෙනව. මට New Zealand වල Business Informatics Masters program එකට select වෙලා තියෙනව. මේ vedeo එකේ කිව්ව BA කෙනෙක් වෙන්න ඕන ඔක්කොම attitudes මන් ලග තියෙනව. මට දැන් වයස 40ක් උනත් මේ career change එකට ගොඩක් ආස නිසා New Zealand යන්න තීරනය කරා. මට Management පැත්ත ok. But IT knowledge එක BIT diploma level එක විතරක් තිබීම සහ මගේ වයස මට ගැටලුවක් වේවිද?
most of the companies asking degree in the field of It even we are try to find a internship opportunity because in the finance field is there any certifications needed for that?
I don’t think a certification will ever replace having a degree. But you can try to get certifications in the finance domain if you’re planning on that domain. If not, technical certifications such as GCP/AWS, OCJP, and many others will help.
I come from a marketing And DM background and I'm thinking about doing an MBA in Business Analytics at the University of Moratuwa. I'm wondering if it's a good choice and if I'll be able to finish it and find good opportunities, considering the current situation in my country and AI technology. I want to make sure it's a worthwhile investment in terms of future returns.
Nobody can predict the future, so I wouldn’t know if it’s a “worthwhile investment”. Do what you love! Then ultimately and eventually, it will be worthwhile!
