I must say something about Laura Bell Bundy's vocals in her performance as elle woods. She literally has a ridiculous voice and amazing transitions between vocal registers they're just about as smooth as can be! Also she puts so much of herself in the character that there's an intention behind every word. Her performances were truly honest.
julie alonzo yeah her voice in the recording studio and her voice live always sound exactly alike because she doesn't need any auto tune at all or vocal adjustments because her voice is phenomenal as it is.

Fun fact: Orfeh is actually married to Andy Karl (Kyle). I think they were married even before "Legally Blonde."

Christian was Marvin in Falsettos aka the best musical ever and he did such a great job. Ugh and after I heard he was playing Wonka it just made so much sense why he was cast. Anyone else wouldn't be good in that role.
I honestly think that in some cases, actors from musicals are more talented than pop stars. (obviously an opinion and don't hate me)
Fatimah Khan of course they are. Not only do they have amazing voices but they know how to use them. Also, they can act and sometimes even dance so they’re naturally more talented than most popstars as those are only good as singing.

what i love about this cast is they didn't lose any of their emotions in the recording. A lot of productions focus on voice only so their acting sort of lacks compared to when they're on stage. This cast on the other hand gives it their all no matter where!
I had the pleasure of being a dresser on their pre-Broadway stay in San Francisco. Phenomenal cast.

My favourite part of this video by far is when Laura is finishing 'So Much Better' and all that the other people are doing are watching to see if she can finish it
1:05 this is something that absolutely kills me about modern Broadway: doesn't matter how light-hearted and mundane the material gets, or how poppy the music can sound, there's always gonna be an orchestra conductor coordinating the vocal and instrumental ensemble and acting like the consummate professional they are. You just know that at some point he had to say something like "Alright, I want the bass line and snare to come together and underline that 'tears coming out of my nose' bit", and it's a colliding of worlds that's amazing to watch.
