First you have to use a pitcher before you waste one. Kelley was horrible when he was with the Nats. I would cringe when they brought him in. In fairness to him, maybe it was the injuries that took the best away from him. His best day was when they released him.

The Bauer thing was overblown. I watched the game. Bauer was on the trading block for 6 months due to his high arbitration salary - not because of his temper. It's stressful being on the trading block. He was sick that day, it was hot & he probably should not have pitched. Combine that with the umpire squeezing him, an error by Los at first base, a misplayed ball by Mercado, an error by Bauer himself & he got pissed. No biggie. He didn't commit a crime. He's a competitor who was pissed at himself. We're human - it wasn't that big of a deal.

If Burnett would have caught that ball when he spun around like that, that woulda been cool as hell lmao
