Mariah just stood out for me personally. Not only because of her powerful vocal range and her impeccable whistle register ability. But for being one of greatest songwriters. I mean that’s one of the reasons for why she was acknowledged by the World Music Awards, as the biggest-selling recording artist of the Millennium (1990-1999). And Whitney was just incredible, her and Mariah were one of the greatest female duos of all time. “When You Believe” still leaves me speechless every time. Mom raised me alone for the first 10 years or so, and most of my childhood (born in 94) was Celine Dion, Eurythmics, Sinead O'Connor, Yanni, and Bon Jovi. Lol weird mixture I know. Even though I only lived 6 years in the 90s, it was a good time for me also.
