Nice, that video came just in time, the most skin tones I have done was on daredevil mouth or batman etc. , and I have been considering a one punch man project but kept putting on hold because of the face and with this video being so educational I might as well bite the bullet , a great one as always keep up the good work.

Well thank you, I was interested in mixing paint to get skin colour, and what I got here is mixing skin colour paint that results in skin colour paint. Genius!

Great tutorial! Thanks for the tip on the skin tone also have you seen the Sideshow Superman call to action video? I ask since they do a method of using 3 washes being red, yellow and blue on the skin and was wondering if you can try doing a video showing that method that the painter showed
Yes Ive seen the video. I use that method every now and then. It's been around for a while. I dont have any plans on doing a video on it any time soon but maybe in the future.

This is so good, I wish what I was painting was as big as that head but its a JoyToy size and I can barely see it, You can see it when You mess it up though lmao!

mix a lot of white with some brown and pink it will get you a basic Caucasian skin tone I have no idea how to get the skin tone of someone like blade but I would imagine adding more brown and less pink, you could try to experiment with yellow and red to get different shades, that is what I do, I experiment a lot, just look for your desired color and how to mix it online and try to achieve the same result, don't be afraid of making mistakes and test your mix on failed prints, (وحظ سعيد يا استاذ مروان)

Just one question, when you seal the colors, do you use brush as well? Do you spray the brush and then brush the sculpt? ( I just didn’t understand that part)
Thanks for the comments. I usually seal a model with a rattle can. Krylon Color Maxx flat is what I use.

I got a question, perhaps u can help me, i use to print my figures in 1:16 más sufer big time when i got to paint the eyes, how can i paint the eyes well? What numbre of brush or pencil do i have to use? Ir how can i create ny own very VERY thin brush? I hope u can help me. And sorry for my bad english hehehe thnx in advance
You can use these Tamiya brushes I use for that plus you can use a fine tip mechanical marker for eyes as well.
Any tips on how to do really short hair/buzz cut looking hair?
Try using pastels for a shaved head. For short hair just a base then dry brush a lighter color over it.

Dude that Pastel u used to bring out the 5 o'clock shadow is crazy! Does it stay on the figure as much as the Arcrylics?
Yes it does. Just make sure to seal it so it doesn't rub off.

What paint would you recommend to replace the Panzer Highlight Flesh?
You could go with a basic Vallejo base flesh. Maybe a dab of white to lighten it up a bit.

Hi Henry great video , skin tones is one of my weakest strengths in painting. The glazes you did on cable did you take them around the side of the head too .

Yes but you would need to be subtle in the tones since most females skin is softer and not as dark.

how do you seal paints?
I use Krylon Color Maxx flat from a rattle can.
I'm having an issue with mine. Using the Citadel paints from your other video, the paint rubs off of my resin prints even after it is completely dried. It rubs off to the point that it doesn't look like it was ever painted. Any tips to get the paint to stick better?

what should i do i mixed my acrylic paint with water but the first layer in nearly transparent how do i fix this
Don't use as much to thin it down. Try using thinner rather than water. Also make sure you're using primer first.
what are you using to hold your model?
If I'm not holding it with my hand I hold it on a skewer stick with an alligator clip

3:13 when I do this moves my brush removes colour on sculpt . Can you help me about that ? (I think problem is water colour mix ratio )

Teeth, tusks and fangs are the hardest for me to paint. They just never look right
I have stupid question. Why you have to seal base color before washes,
can I apply washes color without seal base color?
Will the results be different?
I seal because I sometimes wipe away excess wash off for a certain effect and sealing keeps from wiping the paint underneath off. You don't have to seal however the effect is a little different because the wash will bite more on unsealed paint. I do both.

What is wisping? I havent heard that before, I heard of Wispa Chocolate bars but never wisping. I get the feeling I should know but thats maybe why myfaceups dont come out as good as yours lol!😜
Haha! Wisping is just another term for lightly brushing.

Brother. My life so stressed. I wanna dive into this.. how much for your entire paint set and brushes and all. What can I expect the budget should be.
It depends. You can start with basic sets that'll get you started and mix your own paints. You can but other sets along the way. Plus if you want to airbrush that's another expense.
But what about large smooth skin areas like on a woman. I dont have a problem painting skin tones on faces and male models who usually have more texture to the skin, but female models have a much smoother finish and its hard to hide your brush strokes on those larger areas. Id love to see how you work around this.
Thin coats. Several thin coats. It takes time but the results are worth it.
So why is it so complicated for me? Haha. Skillz
