I had a game where cloud giants flew by and dropped boulders killing 3/4 of the city and party and they just considered it the same as "egging" someone's house.
They DO mention their superior tactics in the MM I Think they mean like large scale logistics and risk evaluation, the know your enemy type things, while fire giants just know optimal stabbing conditions
I think the difference would be Tactician and Generals. While in our societyy both are merged, the first is good a organising a campaign, prepare new strategy for the army and dispatch ressources accordingly while the other is good at comanding the troops on the batlefield, reading ennemy movements and strategies, keeping men in control and seize opportunity.
Also among giant kin are the Goliaths. They're mini giants that exist so people can have giants as player characters. Also, they have natural full body tribal tattoos.

Honestly, for lore, I prefer to watch mrrhexx, who I have no idea if anyone watches but I like his voice and he goes really in depth on the lore of DnD.

@@FerokNuva yeah, when I blew it up on my computer and increased the resolution it makes it look like lip rings. The bottoms look like they curl under the lip and the tops come out at an angle that doesn't really make sense for teeth (expecially vampiric fangs)

Jodamanify very much depends on which dragon and which giant. Also, there are a lot more giants than there are dragons. You won’t be finding a cave filled with a mini society of dragons anytime soon, but you could find a few dozen stone or fire giants.
If you don't have correctly sized tokens, a soda can works perfectly. And the looks on your players faces will be wonderful as it looms over their characters.
i remember the one time i used giants, i had two cloud giants fighting over a bag of beans (yes it was jack's), one of the giant lord had stolen it from the other and there skirmishes between the two factions threatened to destroy a city, since the bodies of slayed giants would fall from the sky.

Check some local hobby shops. Some places run game nights and are really open to teaching new players. Of course there are some that are tight groups but I know some people are super open.

How do you kill a literal living storm? No idea. Hill giants: oh yea if one of them gets so sick that they keep throwing up, they actually lock the giant away and starve them until he gets better. This leads to most the time rampage as remember food is a hill giants religion literally. Frost giants: Ever wonder what some storm giants do to bulk up and become chieftain? Well one forbidden and taboo way is to go abandon Thyrm as your lord and savior, worship troll god, go out and slay a troll, then consume its carcass to gain its regenerative powers. The fucked thing here is that they may develop vestigial body parts such as extra heads, a tail, arms, legs, nipples, etc etc due to frost giants biology not suppose to be like a troll. When they are finally figure out they are thrown out the clan because weakness reasons and they just wander around fucking up everything in pure rage. Stone giants: my favorite fucking thing about stone giants is canonically they are overpowered as fuck. You know how they call the world outside their cave "Land of dreams" and shit? Well stone giants are lucid dreamers. Translation: they literally start to bend reality, the laws of nature, gravity, etc etc if they spend long enough outside their underground cave home. To them the world is literally a dream, meaning to them that they can do whatever they want so normally its common to see a chaotic fuck off stone giant turning a boat into a war ship and chucking that bitch at an adventuring group for the lolz.

If you look at the stat blocks, they aren't that hard to fight. If you were to 1v1 a giant vs a dragon, dragons come out on top 7/10 times.
