Their businesses are thriving and successful. Women have a much harder time qualifying for loans at a financial institution then men do . True statement
I build my business without any loan. I moved to the US with $4000 in savings, did not know anyone here. Still works. I really do not believe people who rely on government can survive long term. Thats why they look for help in the first place.

Greta, as someone who emigrated to the US from Spain many years ago as a young person, I agree with you 100%. Our beautiful countries are an inspiration, but nothing compares to the opportunities we have in America. What you said hit home. The language issue, the professional possibilities... all of that is a big obstacle for many in our native lands. Spot on.

It freaked me out to move out of state when I was 19. Couldn't imagine leaving my country and crossing an ocean to live at 19. That took a lot of courage on Greta's part. Glad it worked out for her.

Such beautiful countryside over there. Pompsie, GREAT edit with the waterfalls. Felt like I could touch the water. It is so, so pretty. What I love about Italy is the rich history. I always look at the buildings in the background. Greta is right though, it is a vacation spot, wonderful to travel through and absorb the history of Italy, but what she said about careers, I can understand that. Brave Greta! 19 years old and sets out for the United States! That is a big step at such a young age. Greta, I want to know how you ended up in Vegas when America is so big? Why Vegas? Your English is amazing for learning it "on the fly" because you had to. I must say you two look very relaxed. You going to get the REAL gondola ride over there? I agreed with Greta when she said she Venetian gondola is not sufficient. Riding the authentic gondola - perfect! Thanks for my daily dose of Italy :)
