"Will save the galaxy for food." Huh.
I quite enjoyed wstgff, looking forward to the sequel, jam was great too
I was just listening to this thinking that this was probably the inspiration for the Jaques McKeown books. Found my answer!
sounds like firefly
@@jimskywaker4345 how dare you, ya bastard spawn of mickey mouse 🐭 🤣
Hah! Plug.
Don't alt-tab and fly kids
+aperturesciencegames Use Shift-Tab and the Steam overlay! Then you get your browser and can still sorta see what's going on in-game.
+Stuart Conrod even moreso now that steam has a music player built in
+Stuart Conrod The steam overlay is garbage and you know it
+aperturesciencegames It has now been fixed! If you finish a jump while out of the game it will throttle to 0!
+Paul Stevens i love it ;)
Who else wants to hear more adventures of the Commander Yahtzee glorius bloodline
...those eyebrows.
That would make a great story
I would XD
The new book he wrote might just quench your thirst for adventure
James Adams What's it called?
3:05
Little did we know that that sign would become an incredible book someday
You stay online because if you trigger something like a big civil war in your solo game, it'll also trigger in the multiplayer world.
That was the explanation I was given.
And cuz Market prices are all the same in Open and Solo play
It's obviously an anti-piracy measure.
Failing Given quite how unpopular "always online" is, and how you can get scripts to make the game think it's online when it's not (coincidentally ofren included with pirate downloads), putting it in as an "anti piracy" measure makes no sense.
It's in there because they wanted to synchronise the market data of both single- and multi-player games, so you can hop between them without a) having to have 2 seperate accounts and grind for that Anaconda in both of them or b) suddenly finding that a highly valuable commodity in your game is worthless online and you've lost all your money.
It's anti-piracy, and it's due to their developing story, and to keep the story consistent, rather than having to develop scripted stories for offline stuff. That was more or less how they described it.
Failing How can you say it's anti piracy when piracy is one of the main paths you can take in the game?
"Well I never said it was a small number." I have not laughed that hard in a while.
I remember watching this video mid 2015, and then bought the game a few months later when it was on sale and I remembered Yahtzee liked it.
Over 1000 hours later and I'm still going strong. Glory to the Empire.
Well, I bought the game with the Horizons expansion with the intent to get the biggest Empire ship that had so many turret slots, all I hade to do was warp to a mining place, find a guy with a bounty, and say, "ATTACK". But then my computer decided that it didn't like Elite: Dangerous and had a hissy-fit, so, i'm crying myself to sleep with only a few days on my record until I get a new computer. I then found this, wich just renews my want for Elite: Dangerous, knowing I am just like Yahtzee with the weird feeling of liking wasting days of my life twiddling my joystick and listening to podcast.
Whew, finally got that off my chest.
To best of luck to your computer's health commander. Godspeed.
Imperial filth! Your days are numbered!!!
This thread got super intense. I'm just a trader and light explorer. Commander Richard Davidson.
Lennart The Federation shall prevail! From Mars to the stars!!!
Take my advice and don't play this game at night.
You will horribly regret it at around an hour before sunrise the game goes: "Oh you gotta go to bed, do you? Well, that's a shame... I mean there is this 1-hour deadline smuggling mission with a reward of a million credits which will be gone by tomorrow, but a man DOES need his sleep riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?"
Frontier, you goddamn cruel bastards.
+Butter of Sorrow "I'll just fly around in this res site until I reach "Dangerous', only 95% to go... only 94% to go... Oh are there birds singing outside?
I don't understand how an interactive screensaver could cause this type of reaction... But I'm trying :-/
Med Otaku well as long as you are trying it's okay
I love the interactive screensaver, im right now at the center of the galaxy (ok, 5000 ly away, but close enough) and i am exploring unmapped stars and finding teraformable planets... I take an almost perverse pleasure that these planets and stars will bear my commanders name on them once i turn in the data... its relaxing.
give em another couple thousand years, ol sagitarius A will eat them
So is anyone going to mention the fact that there was a sign reading "Will Save the Galaxy for Food" sign before Yahtzee ever started writing his book of the same name?
I noticed that as well, had to scroll a while to find if anyone else saw.
Kinda like how he gave out the basic plot of jam in his dead island review before he ever started working on it
Hold the phone Yahtzee, I thought we agreed that this game would be called "Elite HUERGH Dangerous"
Good games are an exception.
as well as games that make sense with it
Lol me too
StrikeWarlock Not really, what about Middle Earth HUERGH Shadow of Mordor?
it's a :, not a ; (sorry if the , right after the : confused things)
3:05 Yahtzee accidentally inspires the title of his own book.
The "Will save galaxy for food"-sign at 03:05, along with the story about making up stories at 04:13 go suspiciously well together, considering a certain work of literature...
I too am subtly looking for the BLACK MARKET!
TL:DR No man's sky with slightly less color but actually has content.
Neither have content
+Morte Sumus OH YOU JUST GOT ROASTED
i sure put a lot of time into a game with no content then. I mean at least Elite has interesting combat and different play styles. it may not have a clear objective, but its at least got a few differeent things you can work towards. I get it's not for everyone though.
***** Repetition is the opiate of the masses
you seem fun at parties.
The vibe he describes with Elite is a lot like how a lot of MMO players feel. Outside of the current content (raids, what-have-you) there's just something oddly pleasing about leveling at a lazy pace, taking on repetitive content you've handled before with very little drive. I've probably leveled more WoW characters than I'd ever have a reason to need, but there's nothing quite so oddly comforting on a day when I'm off and my wife's working like putting on a podcast and just mindlessly going at it. It's probably some kind of human hardwiring: the satisfaction of completing a task with virtually none of the agitation of challenge.
The Extra Credits people call that "abnegation".
Neat. Nothing validates your strange pleasures quite like knowing that not only do other people share them but there's even a term for it.
I hope you're being sarcastic, because if you're not you should look up what abnegation actually means and realise that ProjectXa3 is no doubt giggling maniacally to himself.
Of course; the brain is a lazy sunnuva and make you feel good when you stay in your comfort zone
(doing repetitive-now-familiar tasks at a comfortable pace, like you mentioned and most of gamers have experienced at least once in our lives).
That's why we, as individuals inside a democracy hanging on social media and instant dopamine,
or online gamer community paying automatically for the next "More of the Same: Power Fantasy Warfare",
(or "That Sports Game Who Is Becoming Gradually Boring In Real Life 2018", or "Pay USD60 Because Nostalgia")
are so doomed.
The challenge is more rewarding, though, we all know that.
But that bastard brain needs some painful grinding until it concedes willpower.
We can talk about that. But try to explain that to a millennial without taking the smartphone off his/her hands.
No wonder mmo is dying
El Dangeroso... that sounds like the most spanish-american western hero ever. I can see it now, glorious moustache, blowing gently in the hot winds of Central America...
Note: This sentence can be read in Yahtzee's voice without it being weird.
Yahtzee being positive about a game throughout most of the video!? I never thought I would live to see this day.
He was fairly positive about Talos Principle last week. He was also highly positive about Portal, Shadow of the Colossus and Silent Hills 2.
Check his X-Com review.
The end is nye!
Skyler Tesar bill nye?
lenny lennyson The science guy?
The past 8 videos on this channel have been zero punctuation. Yahtzee will soon rule over all.
Jim Sterling quit the escapist (which is a sad thing) and all of the other escapist stuff are on alternate escapist channels. (which is a GOOD thing)
This channel only has zero punctuation now.
Partack
Why did he quit?
CalamityM rather than me spreading rumours, it'd probably be better if you searched for his official post on his website (or on google *Shrug*)
CalamityM He wanted to become independent so that he can create content his way so he asked the fans to support his Patreon it succeeded and we can find him now on his youtube channel leaving poor Yahtzee to rule this one.
Yahtzee is the best. objections??

Gamergate has nothing else to do. They've failed as whatever movement they were trying to be beyond harassing people (I don't think there was ever a "beyond") and so have fallen back to stalking any mention of Sarkeesian or Quinn.
Silverizael Where was gamer gate mentioned? because I have not seen anything about them or people identifying as members of gamer gate. perhaps it was this just a assumption.
RDDlegacy If they're anti-Sarkeesian, then they're pro-Gamergate. The only exceptions to this i've seen are the people that don't feel GG is anti-woman enough, though those people are usually extreme MRAs or MGTOWs.
Silverizael That's quite a generalisation make to make also it shows a "you're either with us or against us" attitude which did not work when bush tried it. All that kind of thinking accomplishes it alienating possible friends or allies as it gives the impression of a uncompromising, inflexible environment/group. my knowledge on the men's right's movement and MGTOW it limited but before I personally would label them as anti-woman I would first ask what harm are they to women/women's right's. This is not me disagreeing or agreeing with you, like I said my knowledge is limited but I don't usually pick sides in social/political debates.
RDDlegacy The kind of gamers that are a part of Gamergate are like that. Sure, there's probably plenty of people that disagree with Sarkeesian and then went on their merry way. But anyone who dislikes her enough to post a negative comment about her in this video from half a life in it is somewhat obsessed with disliking her, wouldn't you say?
Thank you for referencing the last starfighter, it's one of my favorite books, and the movie's pretty good.
Crazy how a series that was based around being a WW2 sniper has changed so much in the latest iteration :^)
God damn, you got me there. I nearly got angry but then I saw the face. 8/8 m8
Nonsequitorian ver' ver' gut, amerikanische.

+Nonsequitorian It's set in the future, Everything is set near/nearish future in shooters now so they decided to go one up on "spunk gargle wee wee (insert number here ###)" and go reeeaaaaaaallllyyyy far into the future where hand wielded guns are irrelevant :-)The next elite is set after the great implosion aka the end of the universe you can play it now by turning off your monitor and starring into the nothingness
All things aside, while I enjoy hearing Yahtzee rant about the shortcomings of games that "miss the point", my greatest joy in the ZP episodes still comes from the reviews where he's actually having fun... It gets kinda sad when all you get is someone repeatedly lamenting soul-crushing inadequacies of something that is, in the end, technically designed for enjoyment.
My favorite parts of these videos is when he puts a small, discrete joke in the text. For example, the part in this video where you see his character exclaim "not me plums!". It just caught me off guard.
Your right! We should be open to our guilty pleasures...

I think The Amazing Spiderman films are fantastic and much better than the original trilogy.
I also enjoyed all 3 Expendables films. And Final Fantasy X-2.
i like the smell of dogs and gas after some cars drive beside me :3
He mentions Anita Sarkeesian, and yet the comments section doesn't look like the napalm-covered countryside during the Vietnam war... I'm staying in my bunker just in case.
Yahtzee has this amazing ability to not attract instant death from comments. In one video he drops the n word with a hard r and not a single comment. I feel like the people who would get offended by those statements just aren't in his audience and he doesn't create a big enough footprint outside of gaming for anyone looking in to notice. It's actually quite refreshing.
Wait, where and how did he mention dear Anita? I quite missed that joke.
@@lewisirwin5363 2:15
You know, five years later, I completely forgot about her existence. She just dropped off the face of the Earth. That or she's still doing what she's been doing and everyone just stopped caring about her. Either one works for me.
@@Midnight-Starfish Last I heard of was during the recent Last of Us 2 kerfuffle were rumor was she "advised" Neil Drukmen on the story but my reaction was "He's gonna balls it up ether way so I couldn't care less if Anita gave a few hints on how to ruin it even more I'm still not buying it." Oh and at one point she hinted to CD Projeckt Red that they should hire as a consultant in a very "Nice game you have their be a shame if someone called it sexist wouldn't it?" kind of way but they basically ignored/told her to go pound sand god bless them. Besides game devs and publisher are more than capable of ruining their games unwelcome political bs without her help EA comes to mind.
Is Zarniwoop masterminding another theft of the Heart of Gold?
ba dum tish
I think you're confusing someone else with Zaphod Beeblebrox, President of Space.
Zaphod was a patsy set up by Zarniwoop to steal the Heart of Gold so he could get to the true president of the universe.
Silver Dragon ...oh yeaaaaaah. Forgot about that part.
@@drakkenmensch The *ruler* of the galaxy, not the president. The president’s job - and if someone sufficiently vain and stupid is picked he won’t realise this - is not to wield power, but to draw attention away from it. Zaphod Beeblebrox, the only man in history to have made presidential telecasts from the bath, from Eccentrica Gallumbits's bedroom, from the maximum-security wing of the Betelgeuse State Prison, or from where ever else he happened to be at the time, was supremely good at this job.
That was the very first video I saw from you and I must say I'm impressed
I didnt thought that this kind of "review" could be so entertaining.
Thank you kind sir, you made my day
Leaving something to the imagination when done right is in itself a bonus point. If there is enough there to make you want to do it in the first place of course.
n your point about illegal goods for a mission, you can determine mission type by mission logo. If it has a skull on it, or multiple canisters, it is a smuggling mission. It states in the description that the goods are stolen or lists if your current or destination station finds these items illegal, and lists the fine for them.
Two ways to avoid the fine scan: Hitting "Delete" will close your shields and heat vents and eliminate your heat signature for a time, makingyou almost impossible to spot, and thus, scan. Alternately, purchasing Heat Sink launchers finds you with the same general effect, but for a lesser time and requiring a token fee to restock your limited supply of heat sink pucks. However, on its own it is more 'safe' than Silent Running- you can keep shields enabled if you need to duck into the mailslot if you do get scanned, and take a bump. The two synergize well, though, and you can use Heat Sink launchers to stall the overheating taken in Silent Running if it gets too close to 100%.
17cr to save a possible 50k fine? Profit, baby. Pure profit.
I've been playing elite dangerous for a little while now and I'm in your boat Yahtzee. I'm loving it. there's something almost meditative about piloting around like a trucker just enjoying the minutiae of it all. it's just "sim"ish enough for me to feel good every time I properly dock with a space station and just click and go enough to not alienate me for not having enough time to dedicate to learning it all. :)
Thanks for the Hitchhikers book to the galaxy reference, i enjoy those
'will save the galaxy for food sign' at 3:05 - Nice to know the origin of the name for his book
This game is so awesome, even for someone my age. I can finally just be myself. Time to spend 3 hours just marveling the infinite loneliness that is my life, I mean this game.
THIS IS THE SINGLE BEST SHOW ON CZcams! No:
THIS IS THE SINGLE BEST SHOW!
The part where you describe trying to find the black market had me bursting out laughing, that's hilarious, excellent metaphor.
I really enjoyed the review and started playing Elite about a week ago. I'm really enjoying it.
I wonder how Zarniwoop got off the planet Zaphod and Trillian abandoned him on
People came by layer with papers for the President to sign some he stuck out his thumb and hitched a ride back. Or something riddiculusly convoluted that only just barely doesn't violate the laws of space and time.
I love the "Will Save Galaxy For Food" refrence
Glad to hear that I'm not the only person who likes to grind pointless long missions/levels/whatever while catching up on my favorite podcasts. It's also part of the reason I love doing long road trips: You are going somewhere physically and intellectually at the same time - the best of life efficiency optimizations.
Glad to see I'm not the only one that enjoys listening to podcasts while driving in euro truck simulator.
I haven't played either game, but it sounds like this is what No mans sky was trying to be
Yeah, some part of it.
part of it. is a simulator, is not like: i press a button=landed.
I played both and they focus on different things. Polar opposites.
NMS is more about exploring weird planets and has a very basic, automatic flight system. In Elite (this version at least) planets are just empty meshes and you can't land on them, but learning to pilot a ship is like learning to actually drive a car.
+Solidnypan you can land only in No - atmoshpere planet for now, yes. atmosphere landing will be added probably between 2017 and 2018. But yea, you are right.
Exactly. Elite kept up with its promises. Hello Games shat on your face while saying they'd achieved what they set out to achieve.
The reason you need a constant connection is for them to keep your stock market up to date.
Friendship
LT for thrusters works great, LB & RB for rudder, A+LB for landing gear, A+RB for cargo scoop etc etc
I loved how you noted The Last Starfighter, most people i know have no clue what that is. :p
Elite dangerous, one of the best, most immersive, and enjoyable... SIMULATORS out there. Me? I am a bounty hunter running a small wing lead by myself in a Viper Mk IV, my ace flying a Cobra, and my BF running a trading enterprise and small mining company from a Hauler.
See you, Space Cowboy.
Absolutely best,most accurate review yet
Man I love Elite Dangerous, play it with friends regularly!
Hands down the best video discribing elite dangerous iv ever seen 10/10

Holy shit .. you actually like something. I am still in shock.
He surprising likes a lot of games
he likes a lot of games
James Oldfield It's not at all obscure.
James Oldfield Oh well. Everyone I know knows of it.
He likes many games. Off the top of my head I can think of EarthBound, Minecraft, Silent Hill, and Paper Mario.
this game reminds me SOOOO MUCH of tachyon with the space station hubs and space bulletin boards and the quests against pirates/finding art floating in space LOL etc
strangely enough, I want to see another video of this by you, your ramblings and imaginatory context leave me wanting to hear more of your starbound-bloodline and their adventures/mishaps....
I would rather keep hearing you talk about the game then ever play it XD
I'm hoping Yahtzee makes a video for the release of Odyssey next year.
When the escapist 'quite likes' a game you know it's a must buy. On the other hand I do get a little tetchy when he completely massacres a game a love. He's the Spanish inquisition of the review world but also a hilarious one.
His series isn't The Escapist, it's Zero Punctuation. The Escapist is the website it's on.
+garbageboy Yahtzee is basically the oxygen tank of The Escapist
Have you not seen Monty Python? The Spanish Inquisition were already hilarious.
Your right, phrased it wrong.
*You're
I actually lol'd at your explanation for Yahtzee III's death. Kudos.
Welp...I've had so many reasons to get this, and Yhatzee, as usual, you are the one that pushed me into it. Thanks!
At 3:05 he referenced the title of his book which was just released...coincidence?
I don't understand why games like Elite are regarded as "wierd". In the past we had many games like these and they were fun and entertaining.
Now everybody komplains how games are now too easy, but when a simulator comes into the play everyone says it is "wierd" or "not a game for everyone".
It is not my fault people are too lazy to even have a hobby inside a hobby. I like to play video games and I like WW2 fighter planes. So I play games about WW2 fighter planes, and I am so hardcore to actually get a sim and I have absolutely NO FUN within those easy games. I like to have over 9000 bindings and know how to operate a P-51D and make an impact on every little detail with clickable cockpit.
Why now everthing must look like Assasins Creed or Dota.
Indeed. And we're all still waiting for XWing (any version) to finally appear on Steam for similar reasons. Half the fun was mastering the damned complicated shield/blaster/targeting systems. But with LucasArts the way it is now, who knows if we'll ever see its return.
I wouldn't call them weird, but they're definitely not games for everyone. Good simulators tend to have really steep learning curves so that puts off a large portion of people who play games already. Aside from that, simulators, even if they're fantastically made, won't appeal to people who don't have an interest in whatever the simulation is, whether it be space, driving, economics, or war.
As a result, simulators are an incredibly niche genre of games that can only appeal to people who have an interest in the subject AND the patience and dedication to learning the game.
Noobshire
Actually you can get X-Wing and TIE Fighter on Good Old Games (GOG.com) now. Just thought to let you know.
James Oldfield
That is not the point. People say "its wierd" just because it doesn't look like another battlefield game.
Listen! Simulators and mostly aircraft/spacecraft simulators were a big thing in old days. By that I mean up to early 2000s. Now they are regarded as "wierd". The wierd part is that for many at that time games were for kids and they were actually way more complex in many instances. There always been place for Mario and for Jane's attack squadron and Wolfenstein. Back then every game was wierd for most people. Now we have games that developed past the "its for kids" stage and they are progressively easier and now games that were a challange become "wierd". That is the problem.
Indeed, up until around the early 2000s, we had quite a lot of innovative games, what with HL, SiN, Omicron Soul, DN3d, System Shock 2, etc. And yes, the market is becoming more stale in the race to the lowest common denominator and monetisation in-game. Again, not particularly your points, but pertinent to the general conversation.
While we talk about nostalgia, you used to same wheels in this video that I had on my mk2 escort. Also took a long time to do simple tasks, but was good fun.
That hidden reference to his latest novel 3:05
I just got this game on PS4 and I'm really digging. Can't for a second explain why but I like it a lot.
NOT ME PLUMS
I can relate to Yahtzee here because this is literally how I play Skyrim. Mute and subtitles on Zero Punctuation, podcast or anime on computer and a relaxing night
Love the hitchhikers reference
GUYS IT IS ON STEAM NOW EVEN BETTER THAN ITS ALREADY AMAZING GREATNESS.
A huge amount will now be read into that Anita Sarkeesian reference.
Ill be honest, altho i love your videos the like for this one was for the "longer than anita sarkeesians list of grievances" line
Had to take a break from my ZP marathon to listen to some Deep Purple. Been 3 hours now. Thanks, Yahtzee. Sincerely.
3:05 The origin of the title of Yahtzee's third book?
*Reads through comments* Well some people are very easily distracted by a passing remark.
Anyway, dear god Space Sims are dense. I've never been fond of any game where the "Getting Started" strategy is to play in Windowed Mode and constantly tab out to the Wiki.
This was the most accurate description of elite dangerous
3:05 heyyyy so this is where he got the book's idea from!
Again, he likes this one. Maybe he should start doing mainstream video games; that'l bring out the old Yahtzee.
This actually sounds kind of fun...
Reminds me of the time I constructed my own story in Mount and Blade.
"Sir DickWaffleton suffered several arrows to the head, massive internal bleeding, and layed on the ground dying as his men stampeded over him. He would later reset the battle and start at 10% health because.... SCENE NOT FOUND... and that's how he conquered Swadia."
3:05 so that's were he got the idea for the book. It's like in his zombie game review (I don't remember which one) how he talked about carnivores slime (JAM book)
i spent my spacebux wisely and got myself a cobra and converted to a full time trader. It's always good to hang around nav-beacon by the nearest star and pick up bounties when you start so you can git gud, but once thats over start moving shit, its much more profitable, and the only time you're going to find the motherload of bounties (which is usually a 1 million bounty sitting in an anaconda) you're not going to get shit from them cause they managed to survive with a ONE MILLION SPACEBUX bounty, and they know how to fuck a bitch up and then run away.
GiRayne
I've personally never went without shields. even if you put it on a lower internal slot, having a shield always seems useful to me, and the cobra mk III has decent storage with shields. it can get annoying when you get constantly chain interdicted by pirates, so being at least partially combat fitted saved my ass plenty of times. its important to note that the cobra mk III is a multirole ship, so if you think you can escape without shields, then go for it. (if you jump into high wake you can't be mass locked by larger ships)
also if you want to do any form of profitable mining i recommend going on google and searching for pristine reserve belts. i also never liked mining without limpets, their just too convenient.
Though once i got enough money to get a maxed FSD for the cobra, i switched directly to smuggling long distance robigo slaves. they nerfed the shit out of doing that, but its still doable. robigo smuggling is probably the most profitable type of trading early in the game, and can net you millions per delivery.
But for now, what you can do is stack up deliveries. this is done by finding a major exporting station (usually extraction/refinery economies) and sitting in the station, check the bulletin board, take all the good deals you can find, exit the game to menu and choose a different game mode (solo, private game, open). this can refresh the bulletin board, so you can keep picking up deliveries to your heart's content til your hold is full.
GiRayne
eh, my commander succumbed to greed and bought an anaconda, fer de lance, vulture and a keelback with the money made smuggling islands of slaves in his asp (i'm elite trading rank because of it), cause he realized theres nothing the universe could throw at him to stop him.
I kept trading in ships til i got in an ASP with the best FSD, then i started stockpiling once i made the money. its nice to keep different ships for different kinds of work in case i get bored of the mind numbing long range slave trading. i even took the anaconda out for a mining trip, its nice when you have 10 refinery slots and can have 6 active limpets at once, you can just sit back in the camera mode and watch the limpets deliver the fragments after strip mining asteroids.
THARGOIDS!!!!
that ending is so true, i find myself alt tabbing in between jumps lol
I don't know why, but this is now high on my list of Top Zero Punctuations. I couldn't stop laughing after that ending.
Anita joke? Bold move, Yahtzee! Let's see how that plays out!
I can't believe that he never once mentioned that the Galaxy they made in Elite is to scale and that there are over 400 billions stars you can visit
***** No mans sky is for one released on console so good luck with those 18 quintillion, and secondly isnt even released yet, few companies keep their promises.
Less impressive that a scientifically litterate replication of our own milky way. No mans sky makes a universe in much the same way that minecraft generates biomes, only the seed is constant. It becomes much more complex when your programming is trying to re-birth a real galaxy.
Hah! Loved this review... been playing E:D for a while now... loving it!
3:05 Just noticed that the sign he's sitting next to has the same title as his recent book. I wonder if Elite Dangerous may have inspired that book, to an extent.
Space Station 13. Just play it.
Welcome to the under 301 club.

Sidious06 I warned you about those stairs bro

I really want to play this now
I watch these videos because it is hilarious to hear an honest no holds barred review of games. For this one I couldn't help but cringe waiting for his review. I don't often look for validation on my chosen games but I couldn't help but say "YES" when he said "I quite like Elite" LOL!! Great video as always!
One second Anita Sarkeesian mention? Time to make the ENTIRE COMMENTS SECTION ENTIRELY ABOUT THIS SUBJECT.
Considering her and Quinn are basically why Gamergate exists to harass people and try to get others killed through swatting and such.
Seriously, I've watched this video like six times, and can't find where the Anita Sarkeesian reference is.
2:20
SuperDaniel354 Oh. With his accent I barely heard him xD
It's currently on sale in Steam and after watching your review I've done gone and bought it.
AFAIK steam now allows you use the functionality of adding extra keybind layers for ALL controllers, not just the steam controller. So theoretically, you could bind all of the things you need to keys, whiel adding some menu addone for all of the rares keys.
Here's hoping he'll review No man's sky.
+Sheason Actually the official release date of No Man's Sky is August 9, 2016, so it's not really that far anymore because they already finished developing the game which was supposed to be released on June but Sky Broadband filed a lawsuit on Hello Games because the game's title has the word "sky" on it, giving them no choice but to delay it to August.
+Tristan Escaño yep, but I still can't wait for Yahzees review. Multiplayer where you never see anyone else ever
+Sheason And you know how it is with hyped games that take a long time to be released. The longer it takes to be released, the less likely it will be able to live up to the hype.
Aaron Teitelbaum My favourite kind!
Well, he just did, today.
His opinion: "Baby's first Elite Dangerous"
Glorious pc gaming master race yes
Yahtzee made it up and even he thinks its stupid to use the term "Glorious PC master race" seriously

Patdan 10 not according to that article.... silly yes but he likes it
Patdan 10 Its a joke you dumb ass. Its supposed to sound stupid
David W A joke thats not funny
Patdan 10 Thats subjective
I think the last bit is one of my few gripes about the game, how, after hyperdriving, you have to hit the brakes faster than a cheetah recoiling from a burn, else you get plunged into the fiery hot abysses of the thousand suns you encounter.
bruh I just picked up on that "The Last Starfighter" ref, that was obscure af.
So... what fun good podcasts are there?
I just listen to Co-optional, Night Vale, RT Podcast and Cox n' Crendor
Are there more along the same lines?
Don't know about those, but The Drunken Peasants are hilarious as fuck
VISUALWOOD :)
It really depends on what you like.
For example, I listen to comic book podcasts.
But if you want to listen to something hilarious check out "Fantasy fiction" by Josh and Dom from "Continue?".
They write funny fantasy stories and then read them.
Not sure if they're along the same lines but I personally listen to the super best friend cast. They're pretty funny.
All the podcast you mentioned are very conversational so here are two other conversational video game podcasts that i would recommend .If i think of any others i will probably add them later
The Giant Bombcast has a good mix of Banter, humor, gaming talk and knowledge
www.giantbomb.com/podcasts/
IGN UK: They talk about movie and tv as well as video games but it's still worth a shot tho (assuming you don't watch alot of tv)
fly into the sun.....like a boss
Did your spaceship launch from a Lonely Island?
Hilarious video mate!
Thumbs up! :)
Space truck simulator. That sounds awesome!
