Always wanted these guys to be portrayed as Sixshot's henchmen. Matching color scheme can't be ignored.

Nice try but Transformers are hard to come by as they're not the most popular otaku franchises. I've been to over 5 specific TF shops, and dozens of 2nd hand otaku toy shops. Finding specific TFs is a challenge. Of course you could go to Mercari or YAJ, but the prices usually aren't in your favor.

Aquatron is the home planet of the sharkticons. It was colonized by transformers millions of years ago who adapted to the planet by taking on aquatic forms. The sharkticons and the Levicons are the most notable.
Cool, Pounce and Wingspan are back for Transformers Earthrise. It's great that they're re-releases, now together instead of being sold separately like their releases from Titans Return. Well there was that Takara 2-pack woth an added pink color schene, but that was hard to get I think. Anyways, Pounce and Wingspan look really cool in their green/white/purple color schemes and both robot and animal modes. Wish that they came with weapon accessories. And that hinted combine mode.... that's news to me, but I like them as they are. Out of the two Decepticon 2-packs that were announced, Pounce and Wingspan is what I wanted the most. Looking forward to their releases.
I’m pretty sure the Takara 2-pack were the Autobot clones fastlane and cloudraker from transformers legends

The clones were available in different packs, an autobot and a decepticon in a Walgreens exclusive 2-pack and the other two were each in one of those $100 box sets
Also for those who don't know, Pounce and Wingspan actually do have their looks accurate to the G1 Japanese cartoon series The Headmasters.
Looking at Pounce, all I can think of is "Decepticons, ho!"

Review is well done. But one point: Pounce is actually puma, no wolf. In robot mode they both look good, but, in my opinion, animal modes indicate Hasbro's laziness.
Hasbro is not lazy you idiot. They both alt forms are great.

So happy these are released. I hated how the originals released, especially since the old 2 pack was a Walgreens exclusive, which Canada doesn't have. (Yes, we have EBGames, but our store doesn't update figures enough) This is a pack I need to find. Thanks for showing. Also I don't recall a combine form, all I can think of his Battletrap.

Absolutely look the channel!!! I've picked up some dotm transformers over the weekend and cannot wait to get into them. will be doing a vid on them soon :)
If I find them I might try to get a fewof these sets and make the takara ones the general of the drones.
The Takara release of these two didn't come with any weapons either.
Well maybe after these figures being so old maybe they could've added it. Especially cuz the original trilogy was based solely on gimmicks meanwhile this WFC trilogy is based on accuracy AND gimmicks
Easy enough to buy some aftermarket accessories - the original G1 weapons fit them too though.
I think they should be this size though as they are "Small sub-group" characters so are somewhat akin to a Mini-Autobot, I'd expect them to be this size.
The extra upper arm joints on Pounce have some use in robot-mode posing and making a cleaner beast mode underbelly though, I have the originals and I like them enough that I've already pre-ordered these version too, I thought why not - treat them like Reflector/Refraktor and make them generic warriors.
Besides I like the signature logs on the chests of these ones better, I did wonder if they might one day repaint them perhaps in black and purple or shattered glass colours - that might be fun. Some random faction inverted clones of both teams would be quite fun in the opposite colours or mirror colours would be nice.
You can get some from shapeways I believe. There's a few 3d printers that have done G1 inspired weapon sets for them.
I love how as soon as I got both these and the Autobot ones after months and months of looking, they decided to release them again. Do you plan to review the earthrise Quintesson judge or studio series blitzwing any time soon?
My Dad and I were going to Target for our usually Friday off and we keep finding a new earthrise figure there. First, we found Sky Lynx. And now, we found Wingspan and Pounce!
Been watching Season 3 & 4 again, so I picked these guys up, not bad overall & they scale well.
I had bought the two pack that comes with wingspan and cloudraker but I never could get pounce since he was in an pack that was so expensive so I passed them off to my friend since it bugged me that I couldn't get their twins so I'm very happy they are releasing them together and hoping they do the autobot ones as well

I got the walgreens exclusive pack, so i already have wingspan, but i think its still worth buying just so i can get pounce.

The first 3/4 of the Titans Returns releases were easy to get for me, the last 1/4 not so much. I did complete both sets of clones.
Hidden combined mode can be accessed with a burlap sack and hammer . 🤔🤯

Also if you have the G1 versions of both set of clones which I do. this scale does fit them legends. They are the same size as the g1 figures. but more articulation. So the scale fits perfectly. Along with the legends insecticons. the insecticons weren't large figures at all. legends works.I think not everything needs to be a deluxe.

got wingspan from titans return but never could get pounce so I just order this two pack for pounce and for wingspan I will keep which ever version of him that I like best .

Interesting that in the instructions Wingspan is just Wingspan but Pounce is Decepticon Pounce.

There is a lot of exclusive pack coming out, I've not seen a listing for the Autobots - if they did release those as a 2 pack though they might want to make a slight variation to the Takara colours though, as those have rather a lot of pink on them. which looks a bit off-putting.
The Takara versions did not come with weapons. Dr. Wu were the ones that made their weapons.
Are we gonna see the Autobot twins too??

More than likely. Much like these two, Skywarp/Thundercracker are labeled “Villians”. I wouldn’t be surprised if the upcoming Ironhide/Prowl 2 pack are labeled “Heroes” with a subsequent Fastlane/Cloudraker to follow.

Elias Vergil I don’t think Ironhide is going to be a voyager class.. he was a big deluxe in Siege and so was prowl. 99.9% sure they will be released in the deluxe size class again in Earthrise.

HASBRO should have made these two in a Deluxe Class scale. They were too cheap and lazy obviously to do so. However, it’s still worth picking up. And if you need weapons for these guys, go to Toyhax.com and order two blaster guns from the Toyhax Armory. That’s what I’m gonna do😉👍

Fun fact about wingspan i have a character who was called wingspan (not name after) who's an albatross until i decide to change her alt mode into a harpy eagle because they're my favorite birds beside ravens and i found out that wingspan is actually an actual official character and harpy eagles have one of the smallest wingspan to body ratio in eagles,so i temporarily changed it to a boring name airwing until i settle with her final name airtalon because harpy eagles are known for their sharp talons
A couple things to clarify in this video:
1. Pounce transforms into a puma. Not a wolf. He's never once been a wolf.
2. You kept referring to their alt modes as "vehicle modes." Since when have *beast modes* been vehicles? A seat on the back does not a vehicle make, my friend.
Otherwise, they're kinda cute. Not gonna get them, since I have far more interest in Masterpiece and 3rd-party figures than the mainline stuff (I'm really only looking forward to the Netflix cartoon), but for everyone else's sake, I hope they rerelease the Titans Return Fastlane (or, as he's called in Titans Return because of stupid copyright bull, Fastclash) and Cloudraker in their own 2-pack. I mean, there's really no point in having just two members of a Transformer subgroup without having the rest, now is there? Personally, I'll just take Masterpiece Clones, but still.

The capitalist toy-maker brand is getting adept at generating repeat-business via degenerated repeat-use mould repaints (over and above the Seekers, Geewun car brothers of sorts and Waspinator). If you have had the privilege of savouring the full experience of the LG version, you will agree that the skimpy tolerances on these are circling the vicinity of cheap nigh-market knock offs which one can find in certain backwater locations. The 'hand feel' of these leaves a very bad aftertaste. Alas, quality is no longer synonymous with the brand as it once was. It has boiled down to this rudimentary truth of life: Beggars cannot be choosers (or can they?) ;-)
