This race had so many drops, 2 in a single race is crazy. That and the winning team got their school record, and the national lead time, while dropping the baton. That is crazy!
Great Oak 800 runner should have been DQed for blocking. He was leading and his team was in lane 1 but he swung to lane 2 to push 2nd place out before swing back into lane 1.

That anchor for St. John's was running lights out, then ge dropped the stick on the last turn. He would have finished top 3-4 otherwise.
I'm not sure. There was contact and refs have to look and see what happened when second place dropped his baton.
Just goes to show you knowing how to carry the baton is not all that it is cracked up to be.
