Thank you. My wonderful hubby said the same thing to me 18 years ago. Very true! It stings my ears now to hear and saddens my heart. If one truly loves our Lord and God it's offensive. Words can destroy and can build. Being happy and responsible to help build is hard. Being harsh and mean comes easy . Oh those haters. I was exceptionally mean and hateful to everyone. Very angry. A Abusive childhood. I wanted to be a nun. That taken . God saved me even after my horrible attitude. Now people make fun of me for believing.

A great story, a great message. 1 thing I'll never understand. Why is the background music needed? Why does it compete with or override Mr. Robertsons message?
@ufarley chuck this is 6 mo. ago, but if memory is correct, Mr. Phil's message was drowned out at times with "dramatic" music. Dont misunderstand me, I'll listen to Mr. Phil say the ABC's, but I can't if the music is as loud or louder than the message. It's all good.

The Robinson's attend the "Church of Christ" denomination - which has some doctrines that are against Evangelical Christianity. One is Baptismal Regeneration (Faith in Christ does not SAVE you but the H20 of Baptism does). AND that you have to add Human Works to the Cross to "Stay Saved". The Church of Christ does NOT believe in Eternal Security but that you have to keep performing and producing "Fruit" to keep Saved

Really? I heard a sermon of Robertson's where he specifically spoke against both of those doctrines.
Man In The Wilderness the church is the body of people there. Phil is one man and can't speak for a church. Phil is not wrong with what he says but if the church says or does something it is not reflective of Phil nor the word of god. Lots of Christian's may not be strong in the word. Its like saying just cause you sleep in a garage doesn't make you a car. See what I'm saying brother?

Not everything you can’t see is real, son, including god. Every human character trait exists without god. God is a fantasy, just like Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny, including the nonsense about original sin in the garden with the naked couple, the talking snake and the prohibited produce.
I thought that too; Ex Tarot Card reader here. I was an Atheist last year. I am now a Christian this year. I can promise you God is very real, and so is evil. Truth finds people in many different ways. It took me a full year of looking into religion, and psychology, as well as using the cards to realize everything in the Bible is true. Have a blessed day!
I would suggest the Robertson actually learn what taking the Lord's name in VAIN actually means. It means to take religion superficially and not be serious about it, declaring one's self to be "truly" Christian but not really following. It has nothing to do with insulting anyone with religious terminology.
And if you're going to correct one's interpretation of the Bible (particularly one that is unanimously shared among all Scripture-reading Christians), I would suggest you actually READ the book you claim to know so much about. Not only is your own interpretation of religious vanity wrong, but your view of Robertson's interpretation is wrong. There are many definitions of "using God's name" in vain, and dragging it through the mud has always been one of them. I understand your objective here is defamation, but this guy knows the Bible cover to cover, and has been living by its word for decades. Seriously, the false arrogance is appalling.
