Underwhelming because not as many new features as the old updates had? IMO it is better to get a stable and fast, bug free OS Update and after that, as a base, build a lot new features for iOS13
It should be iOS 11.5 or something. This is a substantially more significant upgrade for the 5s then it was for the X. Makes no sense why they're catering to a 5 year old device. These million dollar engineers apparently can't squash bugs and make new features. SMH. Think about it. We gotta wait till 2019 now for any new features of any significance. Oh. And we're still stuck with a dumb Siri who can't compete with $30 smart speakers. But they gave us IFTTT capabilities I'm Siri. Yippee. Also, who in the fuck wanted 32 person FaceTime?! I'd gladly take a 10 person FaceTime in exchay for a redesigned volume HUD and in camera controls. Full number OS updates are supposed to be substantial and add new functionality. Not just refine the software for 5 year old phones.

Myles432 iOS 12 isn’t about features. It’s about fixing the shit that was broken with iOS 11. You’ll see features here and there, but it’ll be more of a maintenance update rather than a features one.

At 4:05 when you mentioned the lock and unlock while playing CZcams to get background audio, I tried the same thing on my iPhone 5S running iOS 11.4 and I was able to get background audio as well! Anybody else notice this?

Actually the old stock app also supported up to ten year charts not just up to 2. You just had to turn your phone in landscape mode

Punch Down King You honestly don't. I never use it. It just bugged me that a third party assistant can do what Siri can't do and it's a basic function. It's not so much the command, it's more the fact that Apple has taken this long to even get this basic task done. Siri should be able to do any basic function on the iPhone without question. That's not even a heavy AI task. It's not a practical command, honestly, it just shows that Apple is actually working to improve Siri.

What's the point of having to 4 inch screens instead of one 6 inch? And if you need to type some text things are getting even worse. Personally I think split screen on a smartphone is a joke. I Don't use this feature on Android and I don't want it on iOS.

For me personally Split Screen was very useful. Back when I was on High School I didn't have a tablet, I mainly used my Samsung Note 3 to study, I used to keep my questions in one side of the screen and the soutions in the other to learn.
