I rode the subway today, Saturday, and got a new one straight away! Rode from St Enochs to Partick, and I can confirm the seats are not that comfortable! Lol
I understand your frustrations, but pleased you eventually got one. I tried a few times, unfortunately not been lucky yet. Good video and the new sets look brighter & better.

Hope they don't fully automate. Feel much safer with a driver on board. Automation of jobs worldwide is not always a good thing. Technology should not be used to rid companies of workers but used as a way of making an employees job easier and more efficient.
I'm flying to Glasgow in 5 days just to ride the new trains!
Nice video. I think I've got pretty lucky as I have been on 3 of the new trains and managed to ride on in the first week of them running.
Very nice I have to say. I do like the new Glasgow Subway trains. Stadler should manufacture new London Underground tube stocks for the Bakerloo Line to replace the 1973 Stock.
They shake a lot on the inside like at some points I was being shook forward out of my seat and I imagine that could be a problem for someone a lot lighter than me
I probably won't make it to Glasgow this year, but I still look forward to try out the new trains.

To this date, Sunday 14th April, there's currently 6 of the new ones in service Monday to Friday still I think great video 👍
From what I saw the other day, it looks like there only on the Outer line , could be wrong but it was still the older version on the inner that I was on .
The Glasgow subway runs on weekends, though with reduced hours on Sunday

Mate , I’ve played that game. First time on a Sunday , then a couple of times during the week with the Mrs , then once again on my own , all without sucess , I saw one going the other way lol still haven’t been on one

I played that game a lot wait for the new train but the day I got on and I love the new train but it’s not orange. I don’t know if I like it as much as the old one
I live in Glasgow mate and I’ve NEVER seen a new one yet!

I rode it snd big difference more spacious plus air conditioning
The trains are shorter than many of the people who use them :)
Feel sorry for the drivers out of a job when it goes fully automated😢
