Mass Effect 3's original ending did suck but thank god for the extended cut that brought real closure to the story. Leviathan DLC really helped with it too, especially if you decided to get every story essential DLC and play everything until the end.

Many players just saw some pointless pictures of crewmembers at the end and were satisfied, all the new problems were just ignored. I doesn't matter which ending you see with or without EC they are bad and a prime example of how not to do.

As a Halo aficionado and Puma enthusiast I enjoyed the gravemind scenes, the brute takeover, and I loved the driving sequences. BUT I will agree that the final moment is only cool if you can play 3 right after because Halo 2 basically has no ending.

Idk if I missed the signs leading up to it, but I most certainly did not see that type of ending for a game I actually loved, at least up to that point.
